About
I've been roleplaying on clockwork since roughly around Spring 2011. I still remember the first server I went on, fondly. It was a great, enlightening experience. I had been playing DarkRP for a while now, and I decided to try out other gamemodes. I saw CW:HL2RP, so I decided to try it out... of course, I had next to no idea as to what I was doing, and I probably made my name "Mr Garry" or something like that, and my description was most likely as bad. I assumed that the gamemode was like DarkRP, and I saw a body on the ground, next to some people. I crouched down to it, and somehow grabbed it (most likely by accident), and I proceeded to crouch walk away, laughing a bit. Then, without anyone warning me saying "hey, don't do that", I get greeted by a lovely message with a white background "banned permamently: mingegrabbing".
If it weren't for the next server I joined having competent staff and seeing me as a noob to CW:HL2RP, I probably would have never played Clockwork. I'm glad that there are at least some people in this world that are capable of using their frontal lobe, for if it weren't for that, I wouldn't have had as much fun as I have had during the past 6-7 years in Garrys Mod. It's been quiet the trip, and I have the people who have created the Clockwork framework to thank.
So, the moral of this little story? Next time you see a "minge", try talking to them first to see if they're new. You may make their future brighter.Interact
