HL2RP A look at Argon HL2RP

I won't even try and format this one , as I am writing this right after getting pictures and playing for maybe 15 minutes and its obvious that this server, spoiler alert, is by far one of the worst I have ever seen. While loading in was like any other server, with the generic character customization, with HL2TS models, once I was on my character, it turned for the worst. Notably was the emptiness of the train station on the most over used HL2RP map ever, Industrial 17, which might I add is used horribly by them. First of all there was no attempt to give resources to new players and once walking out I found a nearly empty plaza, random assortment of props, no attempt to have CWU RP (uses NPC dealers), goofy trash buyers, and above all else, locked doors everywhere. I then soon found out the MPF were even more a mess with barely on during a peak time of 21 players on there server. The MPF as well had weird Division names like Javelin and for some reason had a random OTA on with a equally weird name. Then seeing if at least the Grotto was open, found a lock door, which was then breached by two rebels in full gear. I went to report them to CPs, but they were all in the Nexus doing who knows what. When they finally came out I tried to lead them to the rebels, only to be shot in the leg, put in a cell, released, and then shot in the leg again. I then reported the CP and the CP was a staff member who responded to my call. I whole heartedly say that this server is a shining example of what's wrong with RP servers these days and is something no rper should ever touch with a six foot pole. It's also worth to mention they had a message frequently pop up that said "Give us money".

Doesn't it seem ironic to give this server shit for using TS2 models, when you gave Nebulous shit for using something other than TS2?

Also a huge part of a review should be providing points on how the server could improve, and better itself in the future. The administration team might not listen in the long run; however it gives more depth to the review. Different MPF names aren't even an issue either, I don't see how this could even be bad thing.

 

As much as I personally despise the server, I whole heartedly agree with what you said here.
