    This helpless demonstration of our anguish, our plea to change our suffering...
    The people laying there, once fighting for rights, and screaming...
    They're all just too quiet...

    I sit up, and check all around me...
    Only to see a bright, powerful flashlight shining in my eyes...
    Just past the light, I see two people attempt to flee...
    But are immediately dropped like flies...

    I lay back down, and curl up into a ball...
    And think to myself, "Did they get them all?"

    By the time I saw them drop it was already too late...
    Four officers are now calling my name, but I have no time to reinstate
    Those remains of that kindling passion in my heart...
    That allow me to keep going, and stand up for my rights, but that all fell apart...

    I'm almost asleep now, but the officers keep calling my name...
    I ignore them, and close my eyes, and fall unconscious - Lost in my own little world...
    It looks like they blew out that last little flame...
    The one that kept me strong - But they've taken that away from me, as I lay silent, and curled.
