Am I the only one who is stupidly obsessed with clockwork history like Expierim3nt, Severance, New Vegas and other stuff? Not to mention all the drama and history on the C16 forums.

Who was slidefuse?

Why wasn't severance ported to Gmod13?

Why was New Vegas taken off the store?

 

Because Bethesda a shit. On top of that it was a pretty poor schema in comparison to what is now Atomic.

I dunno the answers to anything else, but I played at Slidefuse.

It was a very early HL2RP server running beta versions of each update of the current schema. One of the SAs was a C16 dev at the time (don't remember his name) and he basically hooked Slidefuse up with beta versions of each script.

They were (IIRC) the first server to run the alpha version of Clockwork, and I remember playing on it during the switch. It was pretty great, and I kinda miss Slidefuse, but I actually haven't heard many people knowing about it. This is actually the first mention of it I've seen on the forums.

Realy no one feels like playing fallout new vegas and many game shop take fallout new vegas away and put in fallout 4 so thay can get more cash

Slidefuse was really nice, Spencer's coding skills made it twice as more fun as any other server.

 

Reminds me of this.

 

SlideFuse was a community. Spencer Sharkey hosted a test server for C16 so that's why he had early versions. He leaked an early version of CW so he got the boot.

Severance wasn't ported because Alex left C16.

New Vegas was taken off the store because Conna didn't want to risk any legal issues.
