[size=13pt]Anatron Studios has been an idea circulating around in the minds of a number of people for quite some time now. The idea of a roleplaying community based purely around Garry's Mod that provides a fresh, user-friendly environment, for people to roleplay in a calm and sublime area with multiple serious elements but that does not take the fun, community-orientated feel from Out-Of-Character gameplay.

So, as you may of expected, those simple minds joined together and began planning out what they hoped would be one of the best roleplaying communities to have ever of existed on the realms of the Internet. With many months of constant planning, designing and bar-fights, they finally came up with what they felt was the best concept for a community; simple, player-orientated with loads of roleplaying opportunities of all different kinds, without the rubbish included. All you have to do is just sit at your computer and play the darn game, while eating pizza or any other taste-bud fulfilling snack you happen to have at hand.

As we are sure you will be glad to hear, however serious, un-serious, fantastically fantastic or terribly terrible you feel that our community is, we do like to get things done and refrain in all cases from messing you and your friends about. We won't make you pay to gain a certain whitelist or the most over-powered weapon available in the entirety of Garry's Mod, because we feel that is a stupid and unfair way to make that little bit of extra cash.

First when I read this, I read Analtron, looked like a troll post to me.

I don't have anything negative to say, but City 45, I mean... Well, its your decision, and I'd better keep my opinion on your choice to myself -snip-

Anywho, I dissaprove of it, but this won't take away, that if its properly executed, and kept together, it should form a decent map for Roleplayers.

Analtron was a name we didn't consider, which is a shame..

I was actually against using City 45 as-well, but the other community directors all disagreed and I was out-voted in the end. I hope we change map in the future though, as there are definitely better maps out there.

 

The community is named Anatron. Not Analtron.

The snow effects on your forum are annoying as hell.

 

A lot of communties are doing christmas shit for their forums. It's dumb as fuck.

 

Keep your forums simple guys. Just look at my long line of forums, it's pointless to spend hours on your forum instead of the actual server. (And you use proboards, that's a free forum, get a custom domain AT LEAST.)

As the snow is a little 'festive', as it were, we sort of like it. Sorry if that bothers you, just don't use our forum.

 

It's not festive. It's annoying and distracts from the actual threads and posting.

 

It gets in the way of reading posts, You're reading something and all of the sudden a snowflake blocks the word you're reading.

 

Also, this isn't really the best attitude to use in your argument.

 

I hardly think it's as much of a problem as you're making out, the snow isn't really that big and it'll be gone after Christmas day anyway.

EDIT: We have taken the snow drops away, sorry for the massive larger than the entire universe inconvenience it seemed to cause for you.

I'm sorry, but this is like, what, the Fourth Community RedParadoxin has ran? And I don't see why he would post the thread himself instead of getting Polis to do it, sure Polis is a Director in that community, but why not just do it yourself? Aswell, I'm sure I've seen those plugins that you've been using on a previous russian community.

First of all, this is a community run by myself, Trance and RedParadoxin. Not soley RP himself. I have no idea why it should matter if this is the fourth community Red has run anyway, does this make the community worse? I'd love for you to elaborate more.

We're actually moving to SMF or another forum software rather soon, too. If you'd like to suggest one, that would be brilliant. The plugins we are using on the server can actually be found in the Russian sector of C16 itself, and are actually pretty good.
