Antarctica Gaming| Fallout New Vegas Roleplay

Introduction

Antarctica Gaming is a roleplay community that was founded in early 2013 by me and my fellow roleplayer friends. We started with a HL2RP and server and got quite successful. Server went down and went up again but this July it all ended. Our owner had to move to Germany and we had to close the server. But with help of our players we found strength to fund our new server. But this time we decided to go for something different. We made a poll and our players choose Fallout New Vegas! So I bought the gamemode worked on it and fixed a lot of issues. Now we are proud to announce that our server is up! We don't have a lot of cash to fund a big server so we started with 24 slots but we can keep this for a year. Server is mostly focused on IC applications and events which will shape up the future of server. Most of the factions like NCR, Legion, Crimson Caravan have IC applications, so people can join those easily. Any donation we recieved will directly go to the funding of server and our forums. Like slots upgrades and ad removal etc. We try to keep the content minumum while trying to get the right materials and models. So server has FastDL and pretty much anybody can download content easily. But still we also have workshop collection which is also linked to server. As forums we are using a free one, upon receiving donation we will buy the domain name and upgrade our forums. I am not a native english speaker so I apologise for grammar errors.
Canon

This is the year 2280, after the defeat of Caesar's Legion at the Hoover Dam NCR started to reinforce their presence in the eastern border. They started to set up more camps as the Legion comes closer to them. One of those areas is Havasu Lake which is located in the south of New Vegas. NCR seemed to have weaker presence in the location. This location deserved to be a victory point, if it falls to the hands of Legion, they can use this path to move further west and flank the NCR in the New Vegas. NCR set up a camp across the Havasu lake which is called Camp Sentinel. Camp earned this name by it's success by; defending it against Legion skirmishes, band of raiders and the of course the wildlife. Across the river Legion set up a fort named Fort Epidrom?as which mean "Invader" in greek. While these two super-powers crash. One other smaller but strong faction has presence in the location. Another part of Brotherhood of Steel's Mojave chapter. They seemed to be rather neutral towards both factions. They rather take their time to see which side has better goals and ideologies for the region and maybe side up with them or maybe wait for both to destroy each other and then takeover. All these factions depends one something to achieve their goal which is the Town of Havasu. Town for now seems to be independent. They have their own Militia forces, farms and of course governer. Both NCR and Legion started to influence the town to join their side. It will be up to the town folks to decide. While this factions have the majority in the area there are also small cults and factions. Like Crimson Caravan, who thought that it would be good idea to use the all of this madness set up a shop near the town. So during all of these attacks and stuff people would need more supplies and they can make up more money. There are rumors of legends like the cult that prays the a giant Gecko, group of black people who slaughters white people and rape them and many more like this.. These can be just wasteland rumors like Blue Star Bottlecaps but also there might be a truth behind it?It?s up to you to side up with who you want.

Factions

New California Republic

Three years ago we put Legion into a crushing defeat, but we do know that they will come back for the Vegas and Hoover Dam. In almost every possible way, via tricks, traps and conspiracies. We should hold them at any costs. Their sucess is because of their rapid conquers and expensions. Once we hold them back their community and society will fall. Salvery can be solution in short term but soon they will have trouble. Camp Sentinel so far was sucessful that's why it is named Sentinel it is sucessful at holding the border. Their small groups of untrained legionaries won't be able to deal with us. But everyday they are growing stronger and we need to grow stronger too. The town of Havasu seemed to be worthy place for NCR. They have quite bit manpower and Arsenal. Having town in our side can help us significantly. We can even push Legion back and maybe start a counter-offensive. Our numbers can be smaller but we are armed better than them. We should bring the democracy and rule of law to wasteland! For the Republic!


Caesar's Legion

Our defeat at the Hoover Dam was shame! Our glorious legion will of course will destroy those who refuse us and enslave them all! The man responsible for the defeat at the Hoover Dam also had been punished by the Caesar. There is no doubt that our new Legate will be much better than the previous one. He is already preparing an assault to Hoover Dam but first we shall find the weak spot of the bear. Our legionary explorers already came with the good news. The weak presence of the NCR near the Havansu Lake will lead their downfall. We have already sent our Decanus to set up a Fort and we named it Epidromas. NCR should know we came for them and we will not hesitate to attack. Our small groups of legionaries are doing small skirmishes so they can keep NCR busy while we get ready for the great offensive to the west. All of those lands belong to Caesar and we shall spill blood in the name of him! True to Caesar!

Brotherhood of Steel

People did expect a nuclear war expect it and prepared themselves for it. Luckily they did survive the war and went to good old surface once more. But they forgot their goal and instead focused on their personal benefits. They used every bit of technology, left from the past, to win fights and satisfy their personal needs. But this won't go long if it goes like this. They will destroy themselves and also what is left. This is our past, if we understand it; we can rebuild it and return our perfect lives. This war is still going on but it's up to us to preserve what is left for future. To do we may need to use brutal force, fight with people and kill them. Those who do not understand the value our ancestor's gifts shall stay away from our road.

Crimson Caravan

Weapons and equipment always will be needed as long as humans exist. It's our nature we fight for everything from God's name to a simple psychotic rage. And those people will need to be supplied. Fighting is a constant element of wasteland; those who do not arm their selves will pay it with their lives. Currently we are already co-operating with NCR, but this conflict between NCR and Legion makes people anxious. So they keep buying new heavier weapons and we are the ones who benefits from this fight. But they are not stupid, there are also local traders and caravans so making absurd prices will only hurt us. Currently we control the cartel but we will not hesitate destroy who poses threat to us.

Minor Factions

To make it even more interesting we have added minor factions. Those factions doesn't have any kind of leader or rank, It's up to player to team up with others or go alone. These factions are Wasteland Creature, Wasteland Robots, Feral Ghouls and Super Mutants. More will come soon. Also we are allowing player based factions like small tribes and cults.
