Help Anyone know how to setup MySQL by Nitrous Networks?

    Well, I still haven't received my Clockwork Customer Forum Tag yet, so I'm not able to post this thread into the correct category. Sorry it this makes anyone peeved but I really can't wait any longer to figure this problem out.

    I have recently bought clockwork, choosing it over the alternative free knockoff (not sure if I can mention it here, but you guys should know what it is.) My gameserver, being hosted by Nitrous Networks and I'm using the MySQL supported by them with the free webhosting they provide.

    To my knowledge, I have set up the MySQL config (clockwork.cfg) correctly, but I am always prompted with this error:
    Unknown MySQL Server host '185.38.148.82' (0)
    [IMG]

    And here is my MySQL Info from the clockwork.cfg:
    Code:
    [MySQL]
    force mysql_characters_table = characters;
    force mysql_players_table = players;
    force mysql_username = omertane_user;
    force mysql_password = [HIDDEN];
    force mysql_database = omertane_database;
    force mysql_host =     185.38.148.82;

    Now, you might say that I should contact my server host for the correct MySQL IP/MySQL Information. But I have already done this. The IP specified in "force mysql_host" is the IP they told me to use. I have tried the IP my game host told me to use, and I have tried the server IP instead, but both are prompted with the same exact error. I also have already scoured the internet and these forums to find a solution or an MySQL alternative, but none work for me.

    Here's the ticket I opened to ask Nitrous what IP to use for the MySQL (The IP in this image is my server's IP):

    And here is their response:

    It bugs me that I cannot set this up properly, and this MySQL Error is keeping me from playing on my server.

    Does anyone know the solution to this problem? Anyone have experience dealing with the MySQL with Nitrous Networks?

    Try using localhost, just as a quick test.

    @Dauw seemed to be having a similar problem recently with the same host as you. Perhaps try contacting him.

    Thanks for the reply. Would you happen to know his steam? It would be a lot more easier to figure the problem out than talking it out over the forums.
