Anyone Play Squad?

Basically a less clunky and easier to learn version of ArmA running off of the Unreal Engine.
Finding servers can be difficult sometimes, but once you get in a game it's fun af

 

if I didn't play arma I would play squad, it's pretty fun

it's gonna take years for squad to be as fleshed out as project reality. if you really want the true experience then you'll get a lot more out of project reality

 

I've been wanting to get into Squad for a while now, I think I might pick it up sometime soon.

 

trust me bro, just save your money and download project reality. completely free and any PC can run it, and it has literally 10x more content. the community is also great, and the game is played by many, in both players v bots and players v players servers

 

I tried playing that before, but there were little to no servers that I could find. Did I just have bad luck or is it dying?

 

nah it's pretty popular, i live in the UK and i could find at least ten populated servers (my pc's broke atm but this was 2 weeks ago when i saw this on a weekend)

so yeah you should try again

 

I've heard nothing but good things about this so far. Very tempting....

 

PR is a free download, and it provides a simulated experience which you can jumpmright into. ao much to do. you can organize a team of guys with APC transport, drop in by littlebird, gun for an attack heli, defend a point from all angles fighting for your life with 7 others... so much fun

if you play pr you don't even need friends really. i've found great squads just joining a server and joining a squad

I play Arma sometimes, but imo there are too many binds to keep track of and it doesn't feel very fluid.
