Hey. I went to your website and i like it, it's nicely laid out.

One thing that i second-guessed and decided not to sign up is because of this;

I hate seeing servers run that simply try to capitalize on selling items.
Seeing that changed my view of the community, i feel it's like it's being run simply for profit, and left me with a sour taste.

It comes across incredibly desperate and i feel it significantly undermines the entire point of a community. Do you have a job? Are you in school? I just am curious about the reason that there are these sort of things in a community.

Hope it all works out, looks okay aside from the capitalist 'business' approach.

EDIT: What happened to the first launch? Isn't this the second time it's 'launching'?

Yes I am in high school and don't yet have a job.
However, we are removing the kits that contain items due to negative feedback from the community, we're going to lean towards custom developed benefits, such as the posters and cassette tapes.

We tried doing kits right- making them more harmless then anything to raise a bit more money for the community, but I understand that the idea of selling items just doesn't look good.

I'm considering removing password storage containers as a benefit as well, since I can only imagine they'd cause more problems. I'll probably get that one plugin- LockyJocky was it? The lock item that gives containers a password.

While we do plan on removing the donation benefits such as locked containers and the kits, Civil Protection officers would be able to break into the crates with a breach. Not that it matters anymore, as we've decided against using them.

 

I remember I used to incite protests in the plaza that would turn into riots.
10/10 would get shot in the chest again

 

We have cut down on the size of our Civil Protection guide due to some suggestions that a few of our players have made. Thank you to those who suggested we make it quite a bit shorter.

lmao not that I have a problem with you using the plugins I released. I love you bunches m8, but trying to slap big ol' custom sticker on them ain't cool.

Either THAT, or you're referring to the fact that you "custom develop" some of the items based on what they request, which is cool and all, but if you're going to use those words, you should probably elaborate more, to prevent edgy butthurt people like me from coming along.

If you'd have read the donation thread, you'd have realized that I make posters in photoshop at people's request, and place them using /advertadd. That's what I meant by 'custom'. I also don't plan to make their posters placeable via item.
I also allow people to make a mix tape with 10 songs on it, but I feel it's not 'easy money' considering I have to download and edit these in one at a time, which includes calculating the time length in seconds for each one. I also have to host this on my website. The word 'custom' simply describes a custom mix tape. However, if you do not want me to use it, I simply won't. If I remember right though, you'd begged me to use your novabox framework and were taken aback when I showed little interest in it.

I don't believe in prancing custom content around like it's Jesus Christ, especially when it's not yours to begin with.

Not only is that the dumbest and most complete bullshit thing I have ever heard, but that's not the point.

I already made the thing publicly available, but it's not cool to slap a "custom made by me" sticker on it and give a big thumbs up.

And besides, it's not even my work, that's not the point, it's actually a addon that Cryptic gave me, which I converted to work with clockwork.
