Archery. (bad grouping)

I was really tired tonight, and shaky. Unsure why. So, my grouping was horrible. And right after this, my GoPro died. So, I'm charging it for now.

    Here's the vid:

bow stuff (really bad grouping, not my best)

  2. nah man
    guns better

    get a berreta you scag

  3. I feel that bows are better, in my opinion. Pistols are okay, but when it comes to rifles, I'd stick with my bow. Unless I managed to get my hands on an M14, then I'd use both whenever.

But then you have the risk of being killed and in combat you won't really be comfortable unless you're trained, so you'll be shaking and all, so guns will be a bad priority.

  9. The reason I'm practicing with my bow is to hunt.
    The reason I don't buy a rifle/crossbow/pistol/etc.
It's because I believe, that in some way, that it's cheating. Bows require a lot more skill to actually use. And way more fun.

  10. implying that you plan to train with a crossbow for killing?

your arguement is not really valid because the same can apply for a bow

No, bows and crossbows are mainly used for hunting really. But if you have a wild buck chasing after you with it's antlers and your weapon jams, you're fucked.

  12. im talking about the shaking aspect lol please read what i quoted

  13. Wait wait wait.
    Hold on. Hold up.
    Combat. Crossbow.

That doesn't add up whatsoever. You literally have to load on a bolt after every shot, let alone place your foot on the front bar simply to pull the draw strings back. No matter what, if you miss the first shot - You're fucked. Same with a bow. But bows are a bit faster, I've to admit. You're actually quite better off with a pistol in a combat situation.

  14. please stop trying to be cool

'wow im from walking dead i use crossbow kill people badass'
    seriously

    stop lol

What are you talking about? I just like crossbows better, I like how you can set them down, put on an optical scope and sit there. It's easy too, while it's set down, aim at your target, pull the trigger. I'm not trying to be cool that's just stupid. Lol, but I did confuse myself before when I started talking about combat, my bad.

I hate to say it, but, Norman Reedus - the person who plays Daryl - had no idea how to shoot a recurve bow and a compound bow at all, when they first picked him up for the role.

Just because you like a bow doesn't mean you're trying to be a 1337 badass like Daryl.

  17. I knew that too, I watched the small interview he did lol

  18. Well, I don't believe archery is that hard. I was able to pick up a compound, and on the first day after a few shots, I was hitting the kill-zone/(sometimes)bullseye from at-least 25 yards. Mind you, this was before I had a release, a nice rest, etc.

Recurves are just the same. Only thing is that you can't exactly hold your draw. You draw it, bring it down on target and release. But you have to do it faster than you would using a compound. I forget the exact reason why.

They are a bit tricky though, because you don't know how far to pull back, depending on whether or not the bow is outfitted for you personally.

Though, sometimes I have trouble with the rest. Some recurves come with a rest, some long-bows do as well. But some long-bows and recurves don't, so you have to tilt it a wee bit sideways.

Crossbows - I don't believe are hard. Fun to shoot, yeah. But I'd definitely not recommend it for hunting if you're going for skill.(Some people may know what I mean when I say this.) The only thing that's a bit troubling, or irritating, is trying to sight your optics in for the said crossbow.

Yeah, Crossbows don't really take in much skill I agree with you, but if you get the right scope it's not entirely hard to sight it in if you have some experience with it.

  20. In my state you can only use them for hunting if you have a disability lol
