Are we still doing that Dev Discussion thing?

A while back I suggested that we all have scheduled meetings where coders or developers, could meet up in the teamspeak, discuss their current projects, and maybe hand out a bit of advice to the nooblings. You guys seemed to love the idea, but I guess with the recent business of everyone it got buried under the rug. I think it'd be interesting to see what's going on when it comes to the recent works of regular plugin developers.

That idea is as good as dead, as much as anyone would like to see it happen it likely won't.

Oh I see, I'm not really one for meetings myself but. Would they not help the community? :S

 

They all turned into massive circlejerks within minutes anyways, so it's probably for the better we don't do these anymore.

 

Well, that part seemed somewhat obvious to me now that I think about it... I mean what happens on C16 is bound to happen in the discussions/meeting.

I haven't had the time, nor drive to do it lately.

Joking. But, I do see the need for such meetings. Again, it connects the community, and give out thoughts to make the community better. Even if it's all just hate passing on to each other.

 

Could just make a development thread on the developer forums, where everyone talks about what they're working in, like my thread.
