Area Add Command?

How does this work? I've been trying it out, and it looks really good. However, I've got a few problems.

    1. Upon being added to the map, all clients and staff get it, regardless of their position from the area.

    2. It is only shown once per connected client.

Can anyone help me with these issues? Furthermore, I have got no clue what they mean with the scale number and Expire and Class.

  2. Same, i'v never really figured out how to use/AreaAdd, not even sure if it works. It'b be nice if some could make a tutorial on how to use it.

MKW9813 The community REDCAT-Gaming has to put up with me.

Run the command once at one corner of the area you want to add, then run the same command at the opposite corner of the area you wish to add.

Thing is, it asks for more. Like Expiry, etc. How do I set up that? Because I've been trying that, but it only shows up once, and then it deletes itself.

    /areaadd "Name" 1 false Scrolling

Name is better to be put between quotes, and if there is %t in the name, it will replaced by the time.

    Example

    Apartments - %t ----> Apartments - 3:58

Known bugs are, that the %t is not updated. It is updated on the first time the area displays to you.
And, if you get my fix for "unknown location" it will actually display "%t" in the name, and not the time.

However, mostly because the time doesn't get updated to clients, I recommend not putting %t.

    So it's /areaadd "Derpington" 1 ?

Well, it still does the same. It only shows one time, regardless of the position I'm in.

    IT is

    /areaadd "Name" 1 false Scrolling

But, it won't popup every time a player collides with it. And then I mean clientside.

    It does on my server.

Doesn't for me. Odd. Perhaps find a fix for this, if there exists one?

Did you define the area and follow what Razer said exactly... It works for me.

Pretty sure I did, alright. Thing is, if someone walks into it, it shows. But if he walks again, it won't. And then it will only after a certain time period. I don't know why. Maybe this is usual?

    Valid point.
Thing is, it won't show at all anymore.

Nevermind. Case closed. It worked with the "Unknown Location" fix. Thanks for the help though!
