Basically I will say what I've said for years. Religion is bad, it's radical beliefs that cause so much harm in society today, religions all religions are a cult, they are dangerous and can cause people to do irrational things in protest of their beliefs.

 

The argument "the world would be a better place if religion is abolished" is bullshit. There will ALWAYS be violence, it's human nature.

 

many theistic doctrines, for the most part, downright reject scientific findings based on empirical evidence. anything that denies the obvious is bad for a society in my book.

and if you look at some of the macroviolence in the last few centuries, youll notice a lot of it was motivated by none other than religion, particularly abrahamic ones. hell, look at some of the hatred and violence today. lots of negative ideologies and actions are caused by religion, my friend. not saying that its all bad, but some of it is. but we're getting off topic, here

 

Plenty of wars have happened regardless of religion, friend.

Plus, the Muslims of old were great scientists.

i wasnt implying that all wars were as a result of religion. lots of violence was caused but not all violence.

and i was talking about some religions, but not all of them.
