We're temporarily down so that I can raise funds either by donation or by work. I am unsure about the future of the server/if we're leaving NewVegasRP because of how deserted and barren it is for servers.

Hey kids! Are you wishing for a better life, and better fun? Head on over to BottleCapGaming! We have ghouls, we have deathclaws, we even have eyebots!

Previously being under the name CitadelCore, and using HL2RP; we decided to move on from that Gamemode! We found ourselves in the land of NewVegasRP, where alot more can happen! The server takes place roughly around the Fallout 1 and 2 era, meaning we still have Enclave up and about (But nobody to play them yet!)

Honestly the server is only on it's second month and alot of the community has moved on during our hiatus from being up, and we really need new players. So far, only one person plays NCR and that is my Co-owner. Alot of our current players (And by that I mean the small handful) usually cannot sustain a proper RP with so little of them. The map we use is the RP version of the Mojave Zombie Survival map, meaning it's big, expansive and very fun to roam around in!

We are a realistic server, meaning that trading for drinks and food are absolutely necessary to maintain yourself. Limp, chest and head damages are all set at realistic rates, meaning a shot to the chest can and will damage you pretty badly, and a headshot means your demise (Yes it's survivable but those odds are too far for my petty programming skills) If you die, you're dead. Gameover man. No NLR, you're dead. It's realistic, you're dead as dead can be. Make a new character.

No highly amazing weapons are placed around the map, nor are weapons just placed there. We place low to medium quality weapons around the map, each with it's own story to tell (A note, a corpse, you name it.) and to add to the spice, ammo can also be seperate if the gun is good enough; to add a little challenge.

Make a name for yourself! Just because you're a normal player and not an admin, doesn't mean you can't find yourself a badass set of armor and not become a wasteland legend! Form your own gang with fellow wanderers or townsfolk! Be the dangerous devil of the wastes, killing everyone in your sight that doesn't bend their knee to your every whim. You wanna kill that Ranger Veteran? Good luck mate! You'll get some good armor, and a nifty weapon! Just be sure not to die...

Make friends! All admins and players here are aimed to be treated alike (No guarantees.) Meaning everyone get's an equal punishment.

    Consequences

    Whining.
Whining helps no one. We can easily stand constructive criticism (AKA giving us reasons why ___ is not good and what we can do to replace or fix it) but regular criticism is as equal to whining, except more annoying. If you die, and you complain about being Charbanned, the death was your fault. Your death is always your fault (Minor exceptions apply) and if another player kills you, stabs you in the back or leads you to trap; then get angry at their CHARACTER, not the player. This type of whining will not be tolerated.

    Failure to RP
This applies to refusal to roll, refusal to PassiveRP, complaining about no interesting RP (Make some.) or refusing to listen to administrators if they tell you that you're doing something wrong, because you probably are. Not all servers RP the same, and if you start comparing us to other servers while in the server, you will be let off with one and only one warning.

    Disrespect
This applies to disrespect of all kinds. Admin disrespect, player disrespect, self disrespect and all kinds of it alike. You treat every player and admin nicely, use manners you ape. Dislike a fellow admin or player all you like, but you show it around in the server and you'll get the hammer. We're a friendly server, we don't need arguments. Arguments (And not civil discussions) will receive consequences for both sides to avoid bias.

    Abuse
This mainly applies to admins, but can also apply to players alike. Once you get that shiny new LMG from your fresh kill, you are not going to charge into the heart of a town and start mugging and shooting up everyone. This is obnoxious and is blatantly abusing your abilities to have powerful weapons, and thus people will begin to avoid you and your RP chances will slowly drain. Admin abuse applies to Physgunning people for fun, picking people up and refusing to let go, throwing people with the physgun, propkilling, spawning weapons, spawning NPCs, spawning ammunition, and using the unholy Admin vendor hidden deep within the map without direct permission from Me or the co-owner (Ren the HoD)

    Content.

We currently use TnB Male and Female models. You will ask for any TnB Model in OOC, and an admin will address you directly on the matter. This is to prevent people from having duplicate clones of such detailed models. Once a model has already been put in use, it cannot be used again for quite some time. This is to allow people to recognize you from afar if you're say... a deadly wasteland villain looking for blood to spill.

We currently use the Fallout Mutant's pack off the Workshop for alot of characters (Eyebots, Gutsies, Protectrons, Deathclaws, supermuties, all alike.) so please download it if you wish to see some characters.

We currently use the Fallout ragdolls pack (Which unfortunately was removed form the workshop for unknown reasons; I am making a package with all of it's content for manual install. This is vital to see plenty of faction characters.

We have custom content. Now hold up a second! We have custom models? No. We have custom armors that use pre-existing models, and custom items and such.

    Feeeeeaarrr...
It's simple. Fear the Enclave, Fear the Brotherhood, and beware of those Ranger Vets. Enclave are trained to follow orders once they are accepted in, same goes for brotherhood. When you see that Ranger Veteran, back up. Remember that line from New Vegas? "One of the Ranger Vets looked at me, and I just about surrendered." Take that into affect. You got some buddies with weapons? You still gotta be wary or be dead.

    *Note*
Ranger Veterans do not travel alone. If you see a Ranger Vet wandering alone, be even more afraid because that guy not only has the skills to kill an NCR Ranger Vet and his pals and wear the armor as a trophy, but he also has the balls to do it.

    "This is of utmost importance.

Recently I used a hefty amount of money to pay for CiderTwo so that the server may survive.

    Now it's your turn.

I need everyone (Or a majority of you) to Donate Via Paypal As soon as possible.

Our forum plan has ended, meaning we lost our theme, alot of our settings, modules and alot of the such

By July 1st, our server will no longer be functional.

Our goal for donations in total is $22 or more!"
    - Not sure if this is related to New Vegas, but forcing your members to donate? What?

Yea, I saw that too... May want to add your content into workshop links.

I'm not sure if you read it right, but it did not list any consequences for not donating. We needed funds, I told everyone they need to donate if they have money. Nobody actually donated, and yet those players are still actively playing. I made sure that everyone was understanding what I mean't by that, and everyone did.

    Good news!

The server now has a freshly baked batch of custom armors, and a few unique melee weapons and guns!

It looks really cheap and tacky and the fact everyone seems to have a glow name or sparkles or a huge :D in their name, however its usability/customization is so much better than a 'free-forum'

  8. Dagger

    Dagger nice lanfing

Exactly. I used freeforum, and Enjin so far has been the best for me. It isn't THAT good, but it does what it needs to.

Hey Dagger, what NPC pack are you using? I tried using the fallout SNPC pack and it doesn't work on my server.

  10. Dagger

    Dagger nice lanfing

NPC Pack? We tried using Silverlan's Fallout SNPC PAck and yes that doesn't work nor is it worth it if it does work.

It takes several rocket launchers to kill one ghoul.

  11. Garrus

    Garrus I like dragons, yargh.

    Edit it's life then. Lol.

  12. Dagger

    Dagger nice lanfing

That's completely pointless. Silverlan's NPCs are completely incompatible with Clockwork as far as my tests have gone.

  13. Garrus

    Garrus I like dragons, yargh.

Uh no. You can edit it's life via toolgun or extracting it with gmad and editing it's NPC life. NOT pointless.

I'm pretty positive you're not getting the several times I've said "They don't work with Clockwork"

So yes! It's entirely pointless to modify an NPC's health if the NPC doesn't work properly in the gamemode.
