Break-Point Gaming

Hello, I'm Pink, the co-owner of BreakPoint Gaming. Some of you may know the community from Dub's critique review, and well we want to let you know that we aren't all minges. We actually try our best, I haven't been active due to Gastroenteritis and Apple, the co-owner has been getting swamped. I must tell you that we need help, as our RP Quality is going down the drain, so if any of you want to come on the server and tell us what you think of it, let us know. If there is any problems with it such as players or technical problems. Please let us know so that we may work on it. We have two servers of now, one being a HL2RP Server and the other being a custom MRP server Apple's been working on. We hope that you enjoy Break-Point gaming, and if you do join and there are any problems in your stay then please tell so we may look into it.

You shouldn't let critque define your community, but rather just take and learn from it.

I've seen many Military Roleplays and worked on a few, but the novelty value of Military Roleplays is going down the drain. So, I suggest you make it different than other MRP's out there, otherwise you will have a hard time attracting new player and even the hardcoor.

Perhaps a topic with information about your community and an introduction to its HL2RP server would have been a great factor so people can base their opinions on the server later. I will check it out if I wish to later.

It also seems that I cannot see the forums, it leads me to some strange page.

 

By taking a glance at it, I can say that you need to get a domain of your own and install the forum software you see fit. Secondly, it needs more HL2RP Child Boards more than just "Factions", like Roleplay Documents, Applications, Guides, etc.

About the first statement, if you cannot keep up hosting a server and a forum without depending on donations, I recommend to terminate the activity.

Also, it seems as if you literally copy-pasted the guide for Civil Protection from LemonPunch.

 

Well, we just closed down our HL2RP due to it not making money. So we are going to move onto MRP. What do you think of that?

 

Servers aren't even meant to make money in the first place. Secondly, I do not have such an interest in Military Roleplay as other people, my main focus is HL2RP. Someone else might hopefully review it.

 

Well I appreciate it, I really do. Thanks for giving us a few tips and pointers, but don't worry. We aren't fully leaving out HL2RP. Just putting on stand-still until we can stabilize the community.

 

For the thing I said about Civil Protection, try to come up with your own structure and such without copy-pasting someone else's or making poor variations from it.
