The name might be familiar from when it began as a Starship Troopers Roleplay, and since then it has grown into an outstanding community. They've recently made the decision to make the switch from SST to Terminator RP, and with it a drastic change in gameplay style!



New players will have the chance to witness the devastating War Against the Machines firsthand and survive in the ashes of the nuclear Judgement Day! Players have the option of enlisting with the brave Tech-Com resistance under the revered prophet and war hero John Connor, and at that open the doors for many specializations and warrior classes!



On the other side of the spectrum, players willing to try their hand at wiping out what's left of the human race will have the chance to apply on the forums (found at callingofheroes-rp) for a Skynet whitelist, where they can begin wreaking havoc on the Resistance as a test T-600 Terminator!



If you have no preference for picking sides in the war, you may take advantage of a new COH feature- a Playerbase Faction! You may join one OR create your own by applying on the forums!

I'm in no position really to state this, but even ignoring the fact that there's no major content post, your OP really doesn't seek to entice any reader.
There's no interesting piece of prose, there's just basic information scattered between hyperbole and posed images. Might want to get your lore writer on making a larger, more detailed post, to really get people enveloped in your server. Information on major factions and what role they will play, the map and any major locations within, and anything else that may otherwise interest us.

The idea MIGHT be interesting if there were some more information. But there isn't anything even relatively usefull. Add some website link, content list and server IP for God's sake.

 

I swear to God I was going to redownload Gmod just to play this.

Then I heard about dog characters used to "find infiltrators."

I'll stick to SWTOR or whatever else. Thanks.

You know, it says that, but none of the sources actually point out instances where the resistance actually use them.

To be honest, I don't see the point either. I'm almost sure the only effective infiltrators were T-800s which were not even abundant enough, and T-600s had rubber skin which were easily spotted up close. I could be wrong though, but then again, Terminator lore is a massive cluster fuck of random retcons or twists.

My personal issue with the dog thing isn't necessarily with the server itself, it's the fact dog characters exist. I understand there may be a purpose for them here, but in every goddamn server, I shit you not, EVERY goddamn server they are played by people who do not understand how dogs behave. Someone even sent me examples of dogs on this server just randomly fucking attacking people without any prior warning or provocation. To further this, I'm sure you've heard everyone complaining about the massive influx of "edgy" characters. Well, it's true. It's that, or unserious ones that spam D4nk Meme$ ICly or never go IC at all. Instead of decent roleplayers playing a human character to develop story, they're playing a dog which doesn't contribute to that.

Besides, wouldn't it be more fun if the resistance didn't have an "I win" button to find infiltrators anyways? To try and find clues about some person who is acting strange or is lacking emotion? Then again, might have to murder the entire base because of how people roleplay now, but hey, two birds one stone from bad judgement!

as shown in the movies, that's not how it works.

 

Like I said. Twists. There's a fucking comic book timeline, salvation timeline, genisys timeline, etc

Funny you mention that, seeming as the only dogs I've seen in the movies were just random domestic ones in the past barking at Arnold.
