Character Themes

  1. Post a song and/or bio that fits a well-developed character of yours.

(I am aware we already have a thread like this, but I don't feel like necroing.)

    I suppose I'll start:

In a post-apoc roleplay, I've a character, Daxter Badeaux. Daxter was a scavenger for the local Metro containing over about 7500 people. It was later on bombed. 7523 people died. Daxter escaped, and was disowned by all other Metro's, and what not, because he wasn't, "loyal," and didn't die with the rest in combat. That being considered an, "honorable," death.

Time-skip to about 7 months later.

He's critically wounded, and in a dazed state, with only a pistol, and five rounds left. One hollow-point in his pocket. He's fending off a ton of mutants, only to hear the click of his pistol go off, while curled up against a stack of sandbags. (He's fending the mutants off so his buddies can escape the attack, which is fucking massive, mind you.)

He loads in the hollow-point, and then the server crashed. But technically, this is the song I'd imagine that would fit the moment he was in, before the server crashed. If you didn't get the hollow-point part, I'm basically saying, he spared a bullet for himself, so he wouldn't die a painful death.

Simply awaiting the edgy-as-fuck music for characters, now.

Jahmal Jackson, originally my troll character - recently PK'd on The Spire, FONV Roleplay. Known for easily being thrown into a primitive-like rage when provoked, which ultimately led to his death.

  4. Can be any roleplay.

    CCA.C23-GHOST.DvL.XXX - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eWewdTkghM
Regularly used protozyne pills to counterbalance Combine Loyalty Program and allowed her brain to regularly distribute bodily hormones and regulate brain chemistry. Survived the initial stages of the City 23 Burning, however was later said to be MIA, and presumably dead.
She remained alive, however, and after travelling to the City 17 Industrial Sector, and beating an EOW Unit in hand-to-hand combat in front of the Sectorial, was promoted to the rank of 01. She now resides there.

    Samuel Tanvery - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxSnf9Kv8P4
Leader of the notorious Shepherds Resistance Cell that sought to the downfall of the Combine Civil Authority and eventually the burning in City 23, Samuel was one of the few resistance leaders to ever successfully gather and unite several cells under one banner. Being among the first to escape City 23 and into the Ineu Pass, he now remains with the rest of his unit in an abandoned military base somewhere in the Outlands.

  8. Patrick 'Gene' Giovanni is a middle aged Italian man who was a biologist in Boston before the invasion. He's extremely family oriented, and overly protective of his "adopted" daughter, Zoey White. (hi sloth) Beforehe met Zoey, he had, run an incredibly successful refugee center outside of City 18. However, this camp was overrun. He managed to escape, but all the residents of the camp who were caught told the MPF everything about Gene. He was marked as Malignant, yet hadn't been seen for several years after this event. He suddenly returns. He tries to keep his Malignant status hidden to everyone around him, but they eventually find out. He prefers not to kill, and only kills when necessary.

    Victor Merardi

Walter White-esque character who got caught up in mafia stuff with a former friend (Jay Lynch, @Sixxicles) and some young startup and eventually transitioned from the small-time stuff to big time stuff. I'm talking money, power, more power, more money, and guns, lots of guns. He eventually dies in a machine gun ambush.

Anyway, there was a part where he and Jay and Ryan got involved with a corrupt detective who was going to clear up the failed bank job in conjunction with an out-of-state corrupt law firm. Turns out the detective was gonna have Victor and Jay pay a hefty-ass fine for it, to which they refused. The detective and the law firm eventually hire some guys to bust down Vic's headquarters and steal the cash.

This is the music that I imagine would play during the firefight that Vic, Jay, Ryan, and an unnamed guy who I don't remember the name of of would participate in.

BTW there would be dust and money flying around.

It starts out with the squad of guys surveying the main first floor room after clearing out a few others rooms and taking like two guys down. Then when the badass part starts it's bullets and dust and flying money and blood. Vic and Jay win by the way.

Then when it ends and they go to cap the detective who is guarded by some of the same guys, they corner him on top of an urban ruin and eventually shoot him off the ledge.

This is what plays during the chase and during his execution.

    Morgan Jones

A guy who's was inspired by Morgan Jones from the Walking Dead show and Alvin from the Walking Dead game. A man who lost his wife and son, getting use to his new life, his life being under the rule of the Combine and Universal Union, to find himself in City 18 and 17, befriending a woman who's ex boyfriend is a dangerous, anti-citizen that does what he wants. He kidnapped her multiple times, kidnapped Jones once or twice, almost killing him a couple of times since he became a city administrator and was a loyalist. Morgan got attached to the woman he befriended, seeing how she reminded him of his wife and son. Until the woman disconnected herself from Morgan, Morgan eventually forced her into become an assistant, and CWU Director, and moving on from her to another woman, who got injured, so Morgan issued an auto-JW, and that's it.

    Arthos Ivaylo of Tilandre.
    The White Wolf.

He was edgy if you ask about him in depth, but he was possibly my favorite Character, and still is to this day. On Eternia Roleplay, I had started him at the tender age of 10, A Simple child in a forest dense and filled with evil creatures, Simply helping and feeding the populous when he can with what he had gotten from the hunt and helping out his den, which mostly consisted of him and a girl named Julia blah blah blah. The good stuff happens at 14, when he left the Forest to seak out Adventure and wound up in the Military of Tilandre, as a Saffron Wolf. (Fitting name.) Where he had mastered his magic mastery in Energy magic (Pure mana energy in a physical form, hey that's his aura!) And sword play, something he also became adept in. Yaddah yaddah yaddah eventually betrayed Tilandre to help another city, Danarium with a war against some demon, to which they found him and dragged him back, threw him in prison and sentenced him to death. He is now a ghost in the town of Byson, haunting a Mantol clan and working on coming back to life through Valpersian Necromancy.
