    Introduction:
First of want to say thank you for taking your time to read this community thread.
Cider 2, the glorious City focused role playing gamemode. I personally really love it, and my community did host one for a long while that was based off of New York City. Battalion-networks is a community of mine and a few friends who originally started out with the intent on creating a unique community offering a wide range of games, and gamemodes to our players. So far we're a success, because of the amount of people who back our community. And further more, we're a bunch of old school role players. We create our own visuals, and websites and like leave a creative professional touch on what we do.
So now that we have the introduction out of the way let's explain what our server is all about shall we.

    The server:
The server it's self is a serious role play one, now allot of Cider Two serves that existed or may exist in the future reference Cider Two as a serious version or a "Clockwork" version of Dark Role play. For us we find that rather insulting, now it may share some similarities in terms of jobs and the system etc but it's a completely different gamemode to us. On our Cider Two server we take a very serious City Role play approach to the gamemode it's self, our Policing team undertake interviews, Military have a 48 hour real time probationary period, and the Citizen role play is packed full of things to do, from starting out your own business, or to taking the path in life that leads to crime, drugs, violence the list goes on. Restriction role play is not in our nature, we believe that if you can do it in real life, then why should a serious role play gamemode based off real life mechanics be restricted ?. Well the answer is it should not, now we do have a set of rules, and guidelines that people must follow to ensure that the server operation is consistent but the role play and possibilities them self are completely open to those that are available in real life.

    Factions:
The Police the most influential faction available in the gamemode they have the ability to make or break a server, the shear importance and professionalism is in the line light constantly. We do heavily focus on making the Police faction a very hard one to be recruited in to, at the same time making it highly realistic and serious. We have a [WIP] set of legislation, law, sections, and requirements to be followed as part of this faction. We do ensure how ever players who are approved and accepted in to phase 1 of training, are all ready, and well equip for the 4 phases ahead. Well we maintain realism, we also do make it possible for people from any walks of life to be able to sign up apply, and be accepted. An application that may slip up in some area's does not solely affect someone's ability to role play, nor follow the set of guidelines and laws the faction encounters. But that's an insight as to how we run the Police force.

The Military operations on our server are very much like the serious role play of a Overwatch soldier from Half-life 2:Roleplay now not in sense that there synth soldiers from the Combine but more they are a event faction that is a rarity on the server. Not in sense events are rare, more that the factions it's self is a rare sight to see. Military follows a stereotype ranking structure, purely because we do not wish to base it off a US rank structure, or a British, or a Russian etc. Because they all do vary, not so much in looks or emblems, but in name and understanding. They are a very strict faction, and only appear in certain events including the following:Terrorism, Martial Law, Curfew (City wide), bomb disposal, assisting in major Policing events, and so forth. Within the Military there are a set amount of divisions like, armored infantry, logistical core, artillery, and mobile infantry. The Military application process is a very strict and moderated one where only the very high quality get accepted.

Citizen life, one of the most unrestricted role play styles and factions available in the game. Choose what ever you want to be, a fire fighter, Police officer, Military soldier, taxi driver, anything. Lead a life of crime, do community and public services, be a vigilante of the community. Rob the banks with a group of armed men. Buy a nice fast super car, become rich beyond your wildest imagination. We do not like restricting what you do as a Citizen because all these roles and possibilities are open to you in real life. And serious role play in the City has got to be based on real life has it not ?. There is not a real ton to say about this faction it's pretty self explanatory, but the Citizen faction truly is unrestricted the only restrictions encountered are the role play aspects, guidelines, and finally rules. But these barely hinder your Citizen role play.

    The setting:
Central City is a fictional City based of the New York network system, it has a variation of metro's, roads, dockland area's, woodland area's, and a vast network of buildings. The setting takes place around 20/8/2014 present day, and the overall City is getting a tad worse for ware. Crime is up, with the use of weapons in a increase. In the past month several public service details was killed, and a new drug on the street that is not yet named has claimed the life of 5000 in the past year. The economy how ever is thriving, jobs are very apparent, a new government is in power and the over all ability to get by and live is allot easier than it was say 5 to 8 years ago. Central City is a modern day thriving city where the possibilities are endless.

The thread itself looks good but you'll be competing with Cloudsixteens shaun, Also.

Name the faction of the 'Military' to the National guard, would be better and probably more realistic, but nice job Shaun.

Thanks Hipster, I will ask my community what they think about the national guard. You know because I don't want to dictate what they do in there own community basically.:p

    Sheldon5579 Because why not?

I would agree with Hipster here. Other than a few flaws, it looks pretty good!

  9. Tydosius

    Tydosius I am deeply sorry.

Can you call this thread something else besides just 'Cider Two Community'? Perhaps put the community name in there? It's especially confusing since C16 is already hosting a Cider 2 server.

  10. I would just like to say that this a load of garbage. You all obviously have no life and waste your time being pathetic on here. Why don't you all grow a pair of balls, socialises like normal people and not spend your pathetic lives on this stupid forum. Like seriously. You all have some serious problems.

Rude, and you're obviously here to flame, so be gone good sir.
And I'm fairly sure all of us have a life we just like to be on a forum, as we all do. I see no problem with this.

  13. Acerius

    Acerius Rock it for me!

    +1 to you there, Fixxer.

On the topic of the quality of the material you've produced, it looks pretty good for what I would call a decent Cider Two server. Also, don't immediately expect to be competing with Cloud Sixteen's server as it seems pretty unfinished or whatever right now. I'm not a big fan of Cider Two so I wont be joining you but good luck with it!
