Cider Two Cider Two: Underplayed?

I'm very curious, is anyone out there hosting a successful Cider Two server? I think Cider Two is an excellent schema, and I'm curious on your thoughts as to why it's so underplayed.
On that note, would anyone play one if it opened? I'm exploring starting one up.
There's a lot you can do with a C2 server, which makes opening one daunting, but at this point with PERP gone its the only premium competitor in the modern day "Serious Roleplay" market. Perhaps that's how it should be marketed?
I don't know, just a lot of thoughts flying through my head.

Well that's what I mean. Perhaps we should be saying "this is serious darkrp" and attracting players that way. I administrate a DarkRP server and there's plenty of players who I know would like a deeper experience, and grasp at it in the realm of DarkRP, but then a thief comes in with a shotgun and gats him because "radiing!!1!"
I think if we pull those players, then perhaps C2 could be very popular.

 

I am actually curious how a Cider Two server works because I've seen the content pack and I was like "Meh, I may need it for screenshots later".

I remember playing it once, became a cop, went through the academy and it was so fun, too bad that it shut down later on due to lack of players. I would love to play Cider Two again if one opened.

 

tbh i think you should attempt to get these players into the serious roleplaying community and start up a good C2.

 

I played on a walking dead RP on cider two, the main gripe I had with it was that the hunger bar went by so fast and you constantly had to fill yourself with food. And when you were hungry again, your screen would blur out.

I don't see why people try to base things off of things that are just based of of real life. Such as GTA RP. That has no basis besides "Niko let's go bowling"
But if there were to be a successful C2 run by anyone but Sixx I'd do it.

 

Would really like This War of Mine, that game is awesome. I feel like it'd work really well.

LP are opening EURP soon I thin, thats probably the closet your gonna get to a populated Cider Two server.

The only thing that concerns me is that there's no actual release date decided for EURP.

 

Yeah I heard it running a different framework fuck playing on any server that uses a different framework its weird as fuck.

So I've been putting a lot of thought into creating a Cider Two server. General questions:
1. Vanilla Cider or something along the lines of Martial Law RP
2. On a scale of definitely 1-5 not at all, would an association with a darkRP negatively affect your view of the server

 

1. In my opinion a Cider server with a crumbling government leaving society in a state of Anarchy'd be interesting.

It's because Cider Two is bland, under-developed and very 'stock'.

The fact people use HL2:RP schema for new vegas servers and a whole range of other stuff tells this story too, because HL2 is either the only schema half-working or isn't just shithouse.
