Cider Two Cider Two: Underplayed?

I have a whole bunch of ideas for a Cider Two if you wanna Steam me about 'em
also 1 if I wanna play with DarkRP'ers I'll play DarkRP

 

The thing about Cider Two is that people will bitch and complain if someone is committing a crime, which is most extremely serious roleplayers. No offense. NO ONE WILL want to play if there is a crime limitation that will limit their character, because no one wants to Roleplay in an extremely serious way of real life roleplay... If you want that, go outside.. The only way i see a c2 server working is if its set in a crumbling or harsh country... (Do israel rp omg) maybe thailand... Mexico... Some parts of brazil... bad parts of the u.s... or maybe a fictional country/city that is going through harsh times. but yeah, good luck on whatever you do

anyways, I'm exploring a lot of options, but I don't have any development experience with clockwork so I doubt anything too crazy will be happening.

 

Woah, Joe's suggestion of Mexico made me think that a Ciudad Juarez RP would be pretty badass.

As long as not every single player from DarkRP is shit I'm okay with it, I'd like something like Martial Law of some sorts or even straight up war/civil war, I'd really like it if there were two well thought out gangs.

As for a civil war thing, I was actually thinking very similarly. Martial law declared, US splits into a couple warring nations. You play in a city, basically HL2RP without the future element.

the problem with cider two is that there's not enough context.

you can't just have real-life rp. it has to have something to distinguish it from normal everyday life, otherwise people get bored and it turns into mafia vs. cop rp with a few shopkeepers here and there.
