Citizen Bot's.

Is it possible?
Like you can make them walk around the map with a set of AI node's. You can be able to talk to them and interact with them, you can view there tokens, inventory, ect. Sometime's they can possibly sit down on bench's or lean? You can trade, buy, or talk to them and passiveRP?
(no i dont mean flirting!)

Yes.
Someone has done it already, but I think it became a discontinued project.

my friend made one of these in a different framework. we call him the minge, and he just walks around and snaps into direction

commonly happens to interrupt rp and get people banned for shooting him.

 

I remember seeing a steam guide on how to make a gmod bot.

Why would you want to make a bot in gmod though? This isn't a MMORPG or fps where you need to grind for shit (unless you find lvling attributes annoying. )

edit: wouldn't it be funny to just have a bot that follows people and never stops or does anything or says anything, just follows you closely behind and stops when you stop?

 

The Question Is; Why would you want to?

It's not like servers RP out NPC's having a sway or anything.

well most server's are just plain dead and pretty much alot of people only join if 6 people are on, great to have some citizen bot's to walk around the map without it being depressing.

why the dumb rating's and dislikes

 

our bot just walked around randomly. i remember one time where this patrol got fired at, and the bot walked by as we forgot to delete him, and we did a /event saying he took all the bullets and the fireteam survived
