City 2 Open Beta Thread

Discussion in 'Mapping' started by Dremek, May 25, 2015.

  1. Novabox thread link (All who report a bug or glitch will receive a special "Beta Tester" badge on the forum):
    http://gmod.novabox.org/forums/threads/city-2-open-beta-thread.843/

Download Link to TEST version of City:
    https://mega.co.nz/#!WUYGHRbB!CsCwFuhFbP_XFCsiK5y6ke6tE9pezstcj56Vka0rflA

Please keep in mind the map was compiled in Fast mode, meaning the lighting & optimization will be at a lower quality than the actual final compile of the map. Sorry for the largish file size-- it will be compressed when uploaded to workshop.

The purpose of the thread is to:
    • Report any bugs you see on the map.
    • Report any glitches you see on the map.
    • Suggest any last minute changes on the map.
    • Suggest any last minute addons/edits on the map.

    Todo list:
    - Redo tunnel.
    - Do final compile on 28th, upload to workshop on 29th.

  2. SireElite

SireElite what's the big fucking deal?

The Nexus shouldn't be a huge ass clusterfuck. I hate big-ass one's, it should just have the thing's it requires, e.g; Training Room, Spawn-Room, DvL's office, Sectorial's Office, Grid Workshop, Med-bay ect.

  3. SHITTY map, great layout. Needs less decals and env-sprites
lags the duck out of me

  4. and the water in the underground thingy looks like a black hole

  5. i think you should scrap this map, too much to fix
