Clockwork Compatibility

Since the community I am in is going to be switching to clockwork when it comes out. I wonder will Clockwork will be compatible with addons such as WAC. Because a issue I am aware of is when you go to openaura with WAC installed a blank black screen pops up instead of the menu. When you try it with WAC uninstalled it works fine. Is there a reason behind this?

Conflict between the two script can be a problem.

Would it be possible to fix it?

Can we fix it, because the community I am in wants to use WAC but cannot due to the script clash.

A note as i recently found out that wiremod is not so friendly with the OA frame work i hope this issue will be resolved in the clockworks version.

Why would someone need wiremod in a serious roleplay server?

I'm just telling facts that's all.

  9. Who's saying that servers that run OA/CW must be "Serious" RP? ;)

When Clockwork is closer to release I'll test WAC and Wiremod to see what's conflicting.

I think it is really upsetting that they won't tell how hard will be the compatibility with other backward version elements that we already implemented into openAura.

How can we tell you? Things are changing in the framework all the time, we can't say something will with the same when we could change it tomorrow to return something completely different.

Then, just say it is not possible and save me from wasting cash/time on trying to think.

Apelata already told me that the script will be just like OA, but I want to hear it straight off from the creators.

Why? We're converting already existing schemas to Clockwork.. Apelata isn't involved with Clockwork and knows nothing of its development progress or anything related to Clockwork in general.

Soret, why are you always so down on Clockwork?
