[Clockwork] Free Crafting

Everything seemingly works in this plugin except the recipe menu. I've successfully created two different recipes, one manually and one through the in-game derma. Neither recipes show up in the "Crafting" section on the TAB menu.

I've commented out the "function ClockworklayerCanSeeRecipe(recipeTable)" part of cl_hooks.lua in the plugin.
No change.
I've added RECIPE.category to my manually made and auto-created one.
No change.
I've commented out the part in sh_plugin.lua that checks the gamemode and informs you if the plugin is out of date.
No change.

I seriously hope this plugin isn't completely busted. There must be a simple fix if most of the other features work. Anybody know how to fix this?

Having the same problem with the newest version of clockwork. Nothing is showing up in the crafting tab. @duck

 

I think it's because the newest version of clockwork comes with its own crafting library and it is overriding something the plugin uses. I don't care about this plugin enough to fix it and reupload it. I will say it's probably related to "cwCrafting".

 

Up to you. This crafting system is a lot easier to use. If you can find someone who can update it, I'd say you should use this.

 

Should not take long for an experienced coder.

 

I took a look over your plugin, I didn't find anything that would've conflicted with CW's crafting library. Only thing that comes close is that the crafting menus use the same name (that being "Crafting"), but their IDs are different (CW's being cwCrafting, yours being cwRecipes). Also anything that would seem to conflict ends up not conflicting because your code uses the word "recipe" in pretty much everything.

 

I thought I used cwCrafting in my plugin, but I guess not. I haven't looked at the plugin in ages. There's nothing else that comes to mind for me.

 

So we're to just let this plugin die? Ah well.

That's the life cycle of most pieces of software. You're only left with the author or some brave soul to maintain the software (unless it was made by a group/business).

Does anyone have one of these recipe lists for Clockwork Phase Four? I've been looking everywhere.

 

Looking for easy to install and use Crafting System.
If someone tells me g4rrs I hope you can walk me through installing and using it, because it ain't workin! Maybe I'm a fool.

I sat here all night trying to get it to work. (g4rss)
Do I put it in clockwork plugins or hl2rp plugins? there are 2 directories.
It says I HAVE NO CRAFTING BLUEPRINTS.
Where do I put the recipes for g4rss?
His download includes abunch of recipes for items I do not have.
I try to make my own and string it but nothing shows up on the menu.
Do i place recipes into LIBRARIES? or leave them in recipes?
Do recipes NEED a flag to be visible? OR if no flag they are all visible?
