Clockwork Release.

    I know that the reason it didn't work properly with OpenAura was because you had to have the WAC Base to have the helicopters function properly.

    The problem with that was the BASE actually had over-written the configuration settings for OA. Things like walk/run speed were one of the main issues as well as the helicopters being too heavy to lift off without adding other components.

    As there's no BASE with WAC thanks to Workshop I think it might work but we'll just have to wait and see.

  3. I hate to be that guy.. But can we get an update on how Clockwork is coming along? I'd love to hear from Alex on how he's doing with it. Not to rush, just curious. Haven't heard in a week or two.

  7. Where is Conna and Impulse, anyways? It seems like they're just sitting by and making shitty flash games while Alex does all the work, then steal it when Alex is done. Aren't they going to help? It'll never get released at this rate.

    I think we (paying customers) deserve from you (communicative developer) a release date. I understand there is one set, and I've been trying to get ahold of Alex but to no avail. Can't we have something? Why are we being left to hang dry here?

    Would you rather a rushed project with a shit load of bugs and glitches especially when you've paid for a working version? I think not.

    Just be patient, it won't be far away.
     
  13. That's not an excuse anymore it is what we have been hearing for the past century. Get shit done show us what we have all paid for, it's honestly getting a bit annoying. Put everyone on the job and get this done.

    You people really don't have patience, do you? I've seen vague release dates for games like "2013" or "2014" with pre-orders already open and the game looking finished - I don't see them whining about it... This is a gamemode, development takes time and a past Clockwork contributor is otherwise occupied with real life shit at the moment.

    Be patient.

    I'm not going to get into an argument over it to basically tell you to wait because it's all you can do right now.

    Alex and the team are working to release it with as much working as possible and they don't need people like you whining about a release date. Just be patient like Skarphet said.
     
  16. Well, waiting for the release and being patient is neat and dandy.
    But as he stated not too long ago, there was like 2 things left preventing release. There's patience, and then there's impatience, I believe it's borderlined. I too myself want it to come out ASAP, but there is not much communication between us and a past Clockwork contributor, he gives us a few updates everyone once in a while on the the clockwork git page. Maybe like you know say whats up on the forums, but he claims making a single post takes up a lot of time. so yeah. i want it too come out, im at the borderline myself.

  18. Alright, it looks like a sarcastic joke I made got taken way out of proportion - for that I'm sorry.

    Yes, you need to be patient. I have been talking with Alex for a while now, and it looks like most, if not all bugs have been squashed. It's a matter of getting rid of lua errors and adding some features, as well as polishing. This is just what I've gathered, so don't take that as an official statement. But it's really looking like Clockwork is coming very soon, so don't get your panties in a knot.

    Especially since Alex is the only one working on it as far as I remember, we need to cut him some slack. How about you all try coding a super large gamemode with multiple schemas before rushing others?
     
  20. Yeah well, he first stated he was going to release just hl2rp then work on others, guess that changed. Still, lack of communication guy.
