    Algorithm Styled Roleplay Guide
Unofficial Guide made by Labyrinth, C16.

Algorithm noun - is a step by step procedure for calculations, or a set of rules for solving a problem.
: Commonly used in mathematics or computer science 'Coding, Scripting, Etc.'

Hello, I bet you came here wondering what the heck is Algorithm and what kind of roleplay style is it? Algorithm is a step by step procedure for calculations, or a set of rules for solving a problem, usually used in mathematics or in coding. What does calculations or, whatever, have to do with the way I roleplay? In my opinion, using algorithm in your roleplay makes your actions more detailed and not rushed. Most of the time when I roleplay, I come across those who tend to be lazy with their performances. It's common when you connect to a HL2RP server and faction members tend to bind over used and boring commands.

/me **Unclips his stunstick and turns it on [HIGH]

    Here's when Algorithm comes in!

/me **Lowers his right hand down and grabs a grip of his stunstick holstered on the right side of his belt. He would quickly slide it out of his holster and flick it on using his thumb on the highest voltage.

It may look intimidating, but it looks so detailed and descriptive, right? When using the algorithm roleplay style, your main goal is to clearly define logical steps such as describing what hand you're using to upholster your stunstick on what side of your belt, using what to flick it on what voltage. Let's think about reality. You come across some autistic child from DarkRP and must teach them how to do something as simple as making a bowl of cereal. You can't just tell them to get the cereal, bowl, spoon and milk, you must walk them through clearly defined step by step procedures. Let's give it a try!

"Little boy, go get the box of cereal, milk, a spoon and a bowl. Put the cereal in the bowl and put milk in it then eat."

If you tell that child that, then they are going to be incorrect. First off, you did not give them clear details on where to find the items, you did not include opening the cereal and milk and you did not mention pouring in the milk instead of putting it. Time for some algorithm.

"Little boy, open the closet door and find a box of corn flakes and place it on the kitchen counter, then I want you to open, not go in, meaning inside, the fridge and find a gallon of milk. Once you find it, grab it and place it on the counter next to the box of cereal. Go to the sink, find and obtain a clean bowl and a spoon, after, place them on the counter next to the other two items. Now, open the box of cereal and pour, not put it in the bowl until it is full, not overloaded. Close the box and open the cap on top of the gallon of milk and pour it in the bowl until it reaches to the top of the bowl. Place the cap back on top of the milk and grab your spoon and eat, I'm not teaching you how to eat."

I hope this guide will help you in the future when you roleplay, happy Algorithming!

Guide could be a bit better, In terms of examples and format.
But I'm sure people get the jist of it.
    Nice work.

Thank you, I tried to make this guide simple, but since this is my first guide, I could fix it up a little bit later. Thank you for the feedback.

Definitely something that can be used for improving role play, however expect most people to ignore it and still do /me shoots or /me dies.
