Hello guys, I was just here to post a link to my channel, where I'm going to start posting videos that instruct players on running and setting up a Clockwork server. By no means at all am I saying that I'm a professional, but I have had my server for over a year and running. I looked around, and couldn't really find anything similar to what I'm doing, so I thought I might try it out, to help people who need it.

I know the quality is bad, but I was in a rush to make the video tonight. As I post more videos they will be in better quality (if I continue to do them that is). If I posted all this in the wrong section, then apologies.

  2. Afaik this is one of the first videos of it's kind, and besides a couple elongated steps you took it's a fairly good tutorial for people just starting out with clockwork. Good job, can't wait to see more.

I like it, but for the installation, you can literally just shift+click the folders for HL2RP and drag/copy them over to the FTP, and they will all merge properly. You also don't need the contributors, license, or readme files, they are they simply for documentation and are not required for the script to run. This goes for Clockwork as well, you do NOT need Codebase, you don't need the License folder, the gitignore, the changlog or the readme.

The merging thing goes for Clockwork as well, simply shift click all the stuff inside the Clockwork folder, and then just drag and drop/copy it to the appropriate place and it merges all the things inside the garrysmod folder from the zip file. It simplifies the process a lot, and saves you the trouble of going in and copying from eeeevery folder.

Just some friendly feedback. I love the initiative, keep it up. <3

    Thank you NightAngel!
Now that I'm looking back at it, I'm wondering why I never thought of that while making the video :p
I'm going to start working on a few new ones, as well as I'm going to reupload this one, in higher quality, and try to fillow your advice.
