Clockwork Wiki

This is my first post in months so pardon if I stumble across some things that have already been discussed in my absence although I have been reading some of the newer posts.

    The wiki
I have realised for quite some time that there is a wiki option on the cloud sixteen home website which upon clicked takes you to an under maintenance message.

I'd suggest making that accessible sooner rather than later or just posting a big updated FAQ page somewhere thats easily viewable to answer many questions that people keep coming out with.

    Some of these questions include:
    Code:
When will clockwork be released (debatable)
    Will Clockwork work on linux?
What order will the schema's be released in?
Why should I buy clockwork or what's new?
How much will it costs to buy clockwork now rather than later?
    Will my databases be compatible?
Will there be a way to convert my databases?
Those are just a handful of questions that I have seen or heard of in my time here and to stop all this clutter of varied answers I'd just suggest posting up a FAQ on a tab on the navigation bar on the forums or on the home page.

Please don't respond to the answer to these questions as I already know most of the answers and this is mainly for the staff to view and take into account as it would save them loads of thread locking and support ticket closing of basic questions they answer on a daily basis.

I would also volunteer to be a wiki contributor if offered as I have wrote wiki's for games and game modes before for communities including my own so am used to writing to a format will full proper grammar and punctuation in full English. All I'd need to do is play the test server or the actual game mode, see screenshots / video's of the thing I'm documenting or be told a list of information that I would have to write up in neat. If you'd rather keep it close to heart and do it yourselves then that's understandable.

    Thanks

I hope it will be up for clockwork aswell. Be nice to actually see a documented functions page without scrambling through the files searching for what i want.

You could always make a third-party wiki, and then get information from the website and write it on there. Plenty of people do that, such as TESW, the Elder Scrolls Wiki, that is hosted from veteran TES players.

The only thing i can say is, i totally support this.
    Would be VERY usefull :)

Problem with this would be that some of the information will probably be off and won't get corrected.

I could have a shot at making one but the information would be limited to what the gamemodes are about, how to use existing commands that we know about, what certain commands do and the general stuff listed above.

And they do advertise the wiki, so something must be useable

If your going to handle all the functions and stuff I could write a bit about the game modes sometime and document some of the items / weapons etc. I did this for my community once and all the items in NVRP.
