Cloud Sixteen: Durable Weapons

    DurableWeapons

Adds durability to all weapon items that can be found when a scan is ran on startup. Durability will decrease every time a weapon is used, provided that the weapon fires bullets (this can count for melee weapons too as most melee weapons still fire bullets.) As a weapon loses its durability, it will do less damage and have increased spread.

Question, is it simple to change the way durability depletes, such as if you want it to deplete at a certain rate?

Hey, like I said this is really for educational purposes to try and explain better how to use the Clockwork item system to its full potential (albeit a rather hacky method because it scans all existing items and adds the functionality to it.)

But the basic premise is that to repair an item, you'd have something else that calls :SetData("Durablity", 100) on the item table itself.

I'll see if I can come up with something basic to demonstrate that to you at a later time, I'll probably end up making something in Severance that does this anyway.

About to say if you where going to implement something like this in serverance, if you would, would there be a way to disable it via the config?

  13. I saw something like this before but it was kinda shit cause it never worked, hopefully this will work!

    Daemon01 I've covered in wars y'know.

You should add a 'Weapon Repair Kit' or something like that, which repairs whatever weapon(s) you have equipped.

Like Fallout: New Vegas's Weapon repair kit? Just use it and presto weapons slightly fixed?
    I'd like that.

That's pretty much obligatory, the repair kit.
