Welcome to CloudSixteen, and good luck with your server. It seems to have a good core, from what I've seen - So, I'd hope to see it better once announced, "off the ground."

Furthermore, which did you prefer - Halo 3, or were you a CoD guy? And as far as the whole law/politics/history thing goes, I hope you do actually go somewhere with it, but not become one of the generic lying political figures that are complete assholes.

If you were in a position of State Legislator, for the most part, what would you try to accomplish?

as far as military being politically correct
i mean using a type of force that doesnt need to have political opinions

i.e. some sort of battleplans that may seem brutal but work

it's fucking ridiculous that our military has to be politically correct and lose more soldiers in the process of being politically correct rather than a logical/potentially "brutal"(or so the press exaggerates it), which guarantees less casualties

Well, collateral damage can often do more damage to US interests than survivors of a strike ever could.
The way I've seen it put by company level officers out of Afghanistan is that for a long time in war, we fought for hills right? Hill control the area around them, they're near perfect fighting positions and hard to capture. Now, we're not just fighting for physical hills but societal hills, the local tribal leaders and what not. They control the people around them, they dissuade the Taliban from operating in their area of control, and they help us build the country since they can actually get things done. If we roll in with armored vehicles, blow the hell out of every possible enemy fighting position, and accidentally kill civilians in the process, we won the battle for the physical hill, but lost the one for the societal one. Now our physical hill will sustain rocket and mortar attacks every day for however long we're there because we pissed off the local tribal leaders.
