Lore of new gamemode running the HL2RP schema- Post Apocalyptic Survival Roleplay

Background- In 2013, an unknown virus devastated the majority of the world with it's
rapid spread and deadliness. The virus, upon infecting the host by means of transfer of
bodily fluids (Saliva, Blood, so on) actually cancels the main bodily functions of the
host, stopping the heart and leaving only vital areas of the brain unharmed. These
included the functions to walk and feed, and other basic instincts. Means of transfer
would occur by the original host attempting to consume a living creature, passing the
virus through the bodily fluids around and in it's mouth therefore entering the blood
stream of the secondary host. This meant that the majority of people attacked and
bitten or scratched by these infectees were actually turned into them, and the numbers
began multiplying rapidly. The military forces failed to prevent the spread of the
infection, even using bombing methods to extinguish infectee populace. This resulted
in the larger cities being destroyed, killing the infectees. This battle waged over many
years, and the survivors "adapted" and started groups, settlements and squads. Small
guerilla units and operations scavenged the remainder of the firepower left from the
initial struggle of the military. These groups would engage in trading, fighting and
spying on each other in order to survive in a harsh wasteland. The infectees, also
adapted to their environment and situation. They would normally travel in groups, hordes
and large packs, consisting of the remaining population of the infected. The survivors
would battle these groups of infected with little struggle, using everything that the
military had at their disposal at the time of the "war". With what military was still
alive, they would defend these camps and towns, providing a safe haven for all who wished
to stay, but life was not that simple, travelling now was difficult with the bandit
populace around, robbing and killing anyone who refused to give them what they wanted.
Generally the people would stay in one place, small squads armed with weapons would go on
looting runs to scavenge the remainding buildings left intact by the bombings.
But now it is 2019, can the survivors last long enough to repopulate, and can they
survive independantly when the military tries to eliminate all evidence of any form of
surviving force? This is where so many RP opportunities occur.

5. FailRP in this lore comes in a few ways, 1. Awful backstory, 2. A character that is
unbelievable and bland, give them something to live for.
6. SexRP is allowed, but don't minge it out.
7. Admin's word is final
8. Please RP getting your weapons
9. Strictly NO RAPE RP
10. No form of flag abuse, staff abuse, or any other abuse.

I dunno actually. All I know is that there was a constant 20+ every day, and then suddenly NOONE. I tried getting on often to get more people on it, nada.
