I'm opening a discussion thread in regards to the Clone Wars RP server that is up. I'd say the server itself is good, though some of the roleplay requisitions the server has put forth are overly done. For something as simple as firing a weapon, they require you to have a full paragraph detailing your functionality of doing so. With my experiences with roleplay a matter of it being concise, although qualitative, I am obliviously new to this, and will take some personal time getting used to it. Some of the people are nice as well, but the rank egos carry into OOC sometimes. Not to mention, there's not too large of a variety of characters players have access to create, a great deal of things are by admin discretion only. This alone is not a pro nor a con, because I can understand the reasoning for such, but the defects negate usefulness, and vice versa.

Has anyone else had experiences with the server? Again, this is a discussion thread.

This thread should be on the community, not the schema (Since it's named CW: Clone Wars Roleplay).
Then again, there shouldn't be a thread about a community.

To answer your question, I haven't had any experience with this server, but I'm not much of a Star Wars guy at all in all honesty.

He's on the borderline because he's giving his personal experience with the server. As long as he doesn't start making factual statements without any evidence then it's fine.

I was in a chat with a owner of a SWRP and he said we stole one of his players as an admin *Before we closed our server* and he started cussing me out, telling me to hang my self, etc...

Bubble RP is quite common here. Basically it's where despite anything that goes on ICly, an admin places a bubble so no one else can join in. This basically means if you're a standard trooper fighting an OP entity, you're fucked, because your friends can't help you, despite your IC calls.

I did something similar on my Halo server, except instead of a bubble, I just distracted everyone else with other enemies to fight. Perhaps I shouldn't do that to be honest, looking back at it, seems pretty lame.

As for the community, I had mixed feelings for it. Quite a bit of minges, but they were dealt with.. Kinda. A lot of not very smart troopers, but they were only Privates, thankfully. Admins kinda ignored my needs for help, but whatever. Wasn't that bad, really. I had some nice RP with some of the higher ranked troopers, though. I just wish the owners/admins paid a bit more attention to canon. For example, I asked why Clone Commandos weren't implemented, and their response was "because elitism", yet they had ARC Troopers, who I would label as being more elitist than Commandos. This was about a year ago, though. Could've changed.
