Dan22's Maya Learning - Models

  3. 3 Hours I think. I used my previous Kevlar (Light) vest as a base model to work from.

  5. Well, perhaps if I was using photoshop to texture it would however new software such as substance painter has made the texturing quicker (only spent about 30 mins texturing).

    Also I did not pay attention to fine details, if I wanted to I could have sculpted creases ect in the vest. It depends on the workflow and detail for how long it takes to model.
    I also used a new method by baking and uv mapping the radio seperately and stitching it to the vest which saved lots of time.
     
  6. Just an update, I have been busy with exams but starting july I will be making new models and I have bought substance painter 2 so I can give you guys amazing renders of the models I make:

  8. Finished my exams and now have time to model, I started working on my first gun model (I suck at making gun models so be gentle)

    Note that this gun model is very wip and is only the high poly version and is not made for in game use, further work is needed. Tweaking the high poly, making the low poly and texturing where some features you do not see in this version will be added later.

  15. I am really new when it comes to animation, I have not done fully custom animations but I have put my knife model with cs animations. I can't answer your questions sorry :( in the future i'll look into it.
