Logo is too dark for my taste.
Thread content looks okay.

Anyway, the thread is decent, and seems like the community/server would be somewhat promising. I'll probably join your forums and lurk, but I never have time to show up on servers. If I do, it's rare. I'm always AFK doing other shit.

 

Thanks for the feedback . I had the friend make the logo since I cbf trying to make a logo in photoshop, ill ask him to make it a little lighter.

if you want to have a succesful server

1. Have actual cps not ones who beat the shit out of citizens for running 2 meters and walking up to 2 citizens having a conversation and going "[email protected]!!"
2. have passiverp/passiverp events (rations, rationsmaking, scanner making, etc etc etc) not "O NO HEADCRAB ZOMBI INVASION RUN!!!!"
3. motivate passiverp yes???

 

I try to enforce Civil Protection to be realistic and avoid situations like that on my server, as well as enforcing passive roleplay. And I'm personally not one for creating a lolevent like that, I might try and have work cycles for citizens set up in a warehouse on a map, like assembly line type of shit, then they'll receive pay or something.

So clearly your only purpose of replying is to 'get back' at people who ripped you. And you still haven't 'fully' read the thread.
How do I do that? Well I explained the techniques I was going to use throughout the thread, actually.
By trying to involve players more throughout roleplay rather than have everything administration ran, because I think that's a necessity to having an active and happy community. Trying to get people used to passive roleplay and encourage it rather than just lolshootouts or just sitting in an apartment all day with one other person.
Trying to create a civil protection force that isn't just lolcombine and don't have to follow a code that consists of beating citizens for doing stupid things, only like stuff that actually violates the law. That's just a few things I'm going to base my structure off of to help provide a quality experience for the player.
Really, the only problem I'm struggling with right now is population, cause you need players to have a hl2rp, lol. Are you actually trying to find information about the server out or trying to prove a 'point' and win some argument over my thread?

Someone (I think it was @Fixxer, feel free to correct me) once made a great little story of how an average John Doe once started a HL2RP with no hype, and wondered by the next day why no one was joining his sik new community.
You just gotta build hype, man, schedule an open night, grab some friends and just make an event out of it. Probably the best advice I can give you on that one.
