Introduction
Hello, and thank you for reading!

Echo 3 Roleplay will be a HL2RP server largely based on the needs and wishes of its community. We strive for an enjoyable and serious roleplaying environment for both the players and the staff team.

Echo 3 will be situated in City 17, Eastern Europe, 2017 which is the capitol city of Earth ever since the Universal Union took control.

We will have the following factions:

-Metropolice Force - Citizens that wanted to help the Union more than they could do as a CWU member. They patrol the streets, hand out punishments, and amputate citizens when necessary. Low ranking units may still be easy prey for groups of citizens, but higher ranking units are allowed to use firearms during patrol. No unit will receive augments, not even the Sectorial Commander. We do this to prevent resistance members from encountering unwinnable battles.

-Overwatch Transhuman Arm - Heavily augmented humans, they are the soldiers of the Universal Union. They are more machine than man, and heavily brainwashed. They operate in squads, and are only sent out when it's really necessary.

-Civil Workers Union - Tier 1 loyalists and above can join the CWU. They work either in the CWU headquarters, or in their own shop. They are only allowed to sell UU-branded goods. (Selling non UU-branded goods is possible, but is it worth the risk...?)

-Stalker - Captured resistance members. They are turned into horrifying creatures, which do complicated mechanical work in the nexus, such as repairing scanners.

-Vortigaunt - An alien species that fled their homeworld from the Union, to the border dimension Xen. After the resonance cascade, massive amounts of vortigaunts flooded Earth. After the Union invaded Earth, they became enslaved once more. They can be freed by resistance members, but this requires some time, as doing it in the wrong order will have terrible consequences.

-Citizen - The common folk in City 17. They try to make the best out of every day, and try to survive the day. They can behave neutral, become hostile to the Union (anti-citizen) or become loyal to the Union (loyalist).

-Resistance - Former citizens, who have escaped out of the sight of the Union, into the sewers. They plan small-scale attacks against the Union, while awaiting the great uprising. Keep in mind that the resistance is on the citizens' side, and will not kill a citizen unless the citizen provokes them, in example by reporting them to a Metropolice unit.

-Combine scientist - A tier 3 loyalist with a scientific past. He researches and develops technology for the Metropolice Force, which is fully IC. They can only use human technology to make minor machines for the Union.

-City Administrator & CA Assistant - The City Administrator seems to be the ruler of the city. In reality, he is just a puppet used by the Universal Union to make citizens feel a bit more tolerant to the Union by putting a human face to it. He often does broadcasts in which he reads loyalists' letters, welcomes citizens, etc. His assistant helps him with his speeches, sorts the letters, and so on.

The Echo 3 staff team is as follows:

RP Agent - Minor staff members that do not have any moderation rights. Their purpose is to occasionally create minor roleplay scenarios around the map, stimulating passive roleplaying.
Operator - Trial admin. Upon acceptance of a staff application, the player wil first be put on a week of admin trial to determine his or her state of mind and to see if he or she fits in well. Is allowed to moderate, and to kick and mute. They can only ban when they are told to do so by SA+
Admin - Basic staff member. Is allowed to moderate, kick, mute, ban and solve minor issues that require an admin to be resolved. Is also allowed to decorate the map with permission of SA+
Super admin - Advanced staff member. Is allowed to do all of the above, as well as give/take whitelists.
Developer - Creates custom content and/or lua plugins
Co-Manager - Is allowed to do anything; HOWEVER, only when talked about it by his or her manager, and as long as it does not affect the players in a negative way.
Manager - Responsible for maintaining the server, and its resources, and providing an enjoyable experience to the entire community.

There is nothing to be specific about, It's literally simple hl2rp.
If you're referring to the Combine Scientists, I'm sure they exist somewhere(I believe Judith Mossman was one) but otherwise, this is pretty much basic hl2rp that we all know and may/may not love.

 

I can't help but notice you disliked people's replies Because they were negative.

 

OP, don't dislike us just because we're telling you that you're server is simple.

it's literally just hl2rp, and in my honest opinion it shouldn't really be advertised on C16 as it looks like it has nothing interesting to offer.

 

I can see why you'd be upset at somebody disliking your server, but as a server owner it isn't your job to smirk and fling shit right back. That's a sign of immaturity.

 

I only disliked the first one because it was not really helpful in my opinion

 

this isn't a place where people come to be helpful, this is a place where people come to critique what people have posted.

i never said that, but when you come here posting about your server you better be prepared to meet some flack, and if you want to go around and dislike people because "it's your opinion" then again, be prepared to be met with people who think your server is flawed or incompetent in some way.

 

You just stated that I'm immature if I'd dislike a comment though.
