We interact with players by observing them for example responding with /it. We always make small events for players.
We want to make sure you are having a good time on our server and we always happy to read suggestions if you want to suggest feel free to do it!

Server Lore​

In 2013, a nuclear war occurred, forcing a large amount of Moscow's surviving population to relocate to underground metro stations in search of refuge from the outside world. Eventually, those who settled in the underground train stations evolved their homes into independent station-countries. Soon, new factions grew, ranging from the independent "Rangers" to the communist "Red Line" faction to the "Fourth Reich" which constantly engages in skirmishes with the former group. As these small states began to evolve, the Red Line and the Fourth Reich entered a permanent state of war, as both sought to control the metro and its resources. As the war raged, those stations who refused to join either side were massacred by the militants, raided by bandits, or outright destroyed by the Dark Ones - paranormal, otherworldly, mutated humans who live on the ravaged surface. While most of the stations are controlled by the three factions, several stations are abandoned, some have independent tribal rule, while some are occupied by the Dark Ones. Within one of those stations is where the events of Metro 2033 unfold.​

Metro Dwellers



"Can..you give me some food?" -A poor metro dweller.

The dwellers are the survivors of the war which took refuge in the underground metro and they didn't got mutated.​

Red Line

"We spread communism" -Red Line Soldier
The Red Line are a politically far-left faction who emulate the former Soviet-Union, particularly that of Stalin's era. Occupying the Sokolnicheskaya Line, minus the two stations of the Ring, the Red Line are a powerful faction. Although not as openly hostile as their enemies, the Fourth Reich, they are nonetheless an oppressive society, with many executions and imprisonments. Their army is reminiscent of the World War II Red Army, compromising of large quantities of poorly trained and equipped men with low survivability. Their huge (relative to the rest of the Metro) population allows this huge neglect for life. They have some well trained and equipped soldiers though, who are most likely either pre-war soldiers or veteran conscripts. These soldiers are rarely seen near the frontlines though. Their leader, Secretary Moskvin , is a harsh leader, though the faction is fairly wealthy nonetheless.​

Fourth Reich

"I wouldn't get close to them..they're bunch of idiots which would shoot you if you pass near them" -A Stalker
A politically far right neo-Nazi faction who embrace many of the ideals of World War II Nazi Germany. Their leader, the Fuhrer, enforces a policy of oppression against all those who are considered 'inferior' which includes people who have been mutated by radiation. Their home station is the triple station of Tverskaya-Chekhovskaya-Pushkinskaya, though they occupy many other stations and bases on the surface. In a state of perpetual war with their political opposites, the Red Line, their army consists of highly trained men with advanced equipment, and often utilise Wehrmacht-style helmets and banners. They prefer well trained soldiers and heavy firepower at the expense of a smaller army​

Bandits


Bandits is the catchall term for loosely organised gangs and thugs. Controlling certain stations throughout the Metro system, though rarely more than one, bandits are known to rob and murder defenceless travellers in the tunnels, taking their goods to sell on. However, some 'bandits' are simply lawless factions, such as those ruling Vemoce or Kitai-Gorod, and are not as extreme as other bandits. Although their businesses may be lucrative, and they are not afraid to kill to get what they want, they are not openly hostile. Many bandit factions are also rumoured to create and sell poor quality or fake merchandise to gullible travellers, often for the same price as a genuine copy.


Mutants


Mutants of a common variety are generally tough creatures which have adapted to their nuclear environment and can withstand high levels of physical trauma. Derivative from local fauna, the mutants of the surface world and the Metro often display above normal intelligence and as a result most species will travel and hunt in packs. While their behavior and movements are rather similar from encounter to encounter, scripted scenes keep gameplay fresh and exciting. Most mutants of the Metro are beings shaped and evolved to life in the darkness, this is essentially their world. It's probably no coincidence that playing this game always gives off the feeling of being watched by something, because you most likely are.

The majority of mutants are species that have high reproductive rates, a prime example being the many numerous Lurkers. This could explain that in a mere 20 years almost all surviving species with high reproductive rates are completely mutated from the radiation.

This looks pretty okay. It's a fairly unique idea, and the thread wasn't too bad.
I'll give this a good look. Count me in!

 

Why does the last pic have floating chairs?
Also alot of the servers lore is generic, mix it up a bit. People have seen way too many stories about some "Evil" country making some deadly virus and un-leashing it against there enemies, only for it to go wrong.
I dunno it could be a good idea..

 

Yeah the last pic I didn't quite notice the floating chairs..they didn't finish to build xD. Thank you for your suggestion I appreciate it. We will make it better.

I have updated the topic we have switched to metro 2033 RP.

 

How many players?

 

Well we get about 8 - 7 on the metro 2033 RP server. But it just got opened so maybe more shall come.

 

I'm not here to bash this community, but I joinned, entered the Fourth Reich zone, got killed without a /me
And most of the admins were circlejerking

 

@Vamure The reich member has been noted and we are looking into it. As for the staff members, we are keeping tabs on them, thanks for bringing up the point
