Faction question

Is there a way to create a faction that when its in use, the character does not display on the Scoreboard?

Like an extra line of code to disable it? Or is it not possible

 

Completely possible.

 

Would it be possible to have a very handy dandy friend guy that could possibly code this so he could then generously and kindly offer it to me so I could thank him?

Or teach me how? Either way, help would be very appreciated.

 

Would someone be willing to explain it to me so I can get a start without being oblivious of what to do?

I've been looking for this.. Basically I want it to take my name and stuff off the scoreboard so I can scare people ingame.. It also does good for observing minges, ect. send the link to my personal inbox if you guys have it! Thanks!

 

It doesn't really scare anyone, and it doesn't really improve observing minges, since you would usually use observer. It's more to stop people metagaming for stuff they shouldn't know.

 

I use it as both. Seeing as you cant really use admin commands on the people with that whitelist unless you know the command through chat.

So its really an Admin whitelist unless you can really trust that person.
I use it as a G-Man character sometimes. To get RP going. It works well for putting that sence of fear in people when they dont know who that is. But I rarely use it to just "scare" people. Sometimes I sit in there watching, people think "Oh the owner isnt here" so then they go do something stupid, and I am right there.

Or, I use it as G-Man, I can go around with no one knowing I am there so I can act as the true G-Man when no one expects him to show up, he does.

It works wonders.

 

I usually use it to hide the likes of Vortigaunts or Rebels, since people can go looking for them if they know they are on.
