    le epic thread music
i wish obsidian made a new fallout game on 4's engine so bad. fallout new vegas was a masterpiece in every single aspect

the main story was TRULY a wild ride... i always sided with mister house because he was the coolest, NCR is for military faggots and caesars legion is the ultimate black pill. independent is for developmentally disabled people - YES MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the smaller factions were great too

    the kings: new york 1960
the followers of the apocalype: House (TV Series)
the silver rush: niggas wit lazers
the atomic wrangler: haha the brother fucks robots
mick and ralphs: come to mick and ralphs for all your shopping needs
goodsprings: goodsprings was the shit. it was "home." though i did like to shoot easy pete because he had orange skin
freeside: a scummy town. i always made primm slimms the sheriff cause it was the easiest yeehaw pardner
novac: this place was sick, i loved seeing jeanie may's head pop when boon shoots her
    black mountain: trans nightkin
the casino tribes: the tops was the coolest casino. ring-a-ding, baby. the ultra luxe was seriously fucked. the gomorrah were just stupid fucking wops. the other ones r irrelevant except for the vault motel cause you can fuck her if you give her enough suits
fill in the rest with your imagination

the DLC is where fnv really shined

dead money was fantastic. if you disagree with me, you have a short attention span and suck at fnv. it was difficult, yes, but it was incredibly fun, and the story was vast and intertwined. the sierra madre is so cool visually and conceptually. roaming the toxic streets of the villa was honestly terrifying. the ghost people were monsters dude

honest hearts reminds me of staying at home and reading during a rainy day. the environment was the first of its kind in a 3d fallout game. natural vegetation, rocky cliffs, indian-like tribals, caesar's legion lore, it was fantastic. the weakest of the four, yes, but not bad because of that

old world blues. my favorite DLC of all time. everything about this DLC is fantastic. there is, objectively, nothing wrong with it. the characters are fantastic. the think tank/sink is so charismatic and lively. OWB is so campy. the multiple test laboratories, the failed test subjects running about, the prototype weapons and armor and other devices... yeah i developed a crush on the sneaking suit, i know you did too

lonesome road is considered by most to be the best DLC. it's great, don't get me wrong, but nothing can top OWB. anyways, lonsome road introduces Ulysses. he's the nigga. he's so cool. making your way through the divide was incredible. the buried skyscrapers, the ncr/legion ghouls left behind, the fucking tunneler faggots who i will never not hate, the shoulder mounted MG was sick, the sleeping roll, MREs, ulysses' logs, it was great.

gun runner's arsenal was cool but i never wanted to buy any of the guns for some reason... i really dont know why. i stuck 2 the all american

the modding community was great... especially the XXX 18+ female body replacers that i installed when i was like 13

also i wish fallout rp was still active/good. lazarus (lol johnny guitar sounds like a 14 year old) marked a turning point in the fallout rp universe

PLEASE discuss how GREAT fallout new vegas was. fallout 3 was a lot of fun but does not compare. fallout 4 was cool for technological advancements but the story was kinda gay

first playthroughs of dead money are always the hardest. after that, you learn how to maximize character interaction and minimize cloud exposure

old world blues will always have a place in my heart. my favorite dlc of any game

fallout new vegas reputation system was a fucking beauty how much i loved it and playing around with it to see what would happen and do was awesome
obsidian need to make another fallout game

  8. looks like somebody's forgetting the roboscorpion bullet sponges
never got why people considered owb to be the best, it's ok at best since it's mostly "talk to these scientists, go get the doohickeys, kill the giant scorpion, talk to scientists again" and you're done. if you're feeling spicy, you might also bother to get all the sink modules which is just "go to x and get y"
honest hearts was kind of subject to this as well, but its world is interesting enough to explore with the taboo places and the survivalist

you can break every dlc into "talk to these people, get the doohickeys, kill the big thing, talk to the people again"

dead money: talk to your 3 teammates, go put them in their places, talk to your teammates when you're in the sierra madre again, deal with the "boss" (vault), the end

honest hearts: talk to joshua graham. go get the doohickeys. talk to joshua or daniel. do the ending.

lonesome road: talk to ulysses. walk through the valley. talk to ulysses. walk through the valley. talk to ulysses. walk through the valley. fight him in the end or dont fight him.

the quests in owb were a little fetchy, but that's not what I liked about it. the characters were what made the dlc so great. interacting with the think tank scientists, the sink modules, reading more about christine, ulysses, and father elijah's story, reading about the abandoned experiments in the big mt. lore was a huge part of owb. if you want gameplay, play fallout 4.

also, the robotscorpions were bullet sponges because you were supposed to combat them with emp weapons. weapons that are provided to you in the dlc. emp grenades, proton axes, the LAER, the sonic emitter, any of the energy weapons you can find scattered around the map

the survivalist was a great part of honest hearts. my favorite, actually. a peek into the world right after the bomb.

  10. i like caesar
he's pretty neat, using violence as a means to the end is understandable given the circumstance at hand
