Basically, a favicon.ico is what you see next to tabs, and in my opinion makes a forum looks better.
    I think C16 should have a favicon :^)

    Some basic known favicons

An idea I had for a favicon for C16 (something basic, it has to be 32x32 pixels)

Just in case you aren't fully sure what to do, or for anyone else reading this thread that wants their forum to have a favicon:
    • Resize an image that you want as your favicon to 32x32 pixels
    • Save it as a PNG (Make sure it has a transparent background!)
    • Go to the file you saved, and rename it favicon.ico. Make sure to overwrite the png with ico, as you need an ico file - saving it as a PNG first is only to make sure the background stays transparent.
    • (This is for SMF, but I am 95% sure other websites can do this as well.) Open up your FTP, and go to the public folder
    • Move the favicon.ico file inside
    • Voila! It should work - if it doesn't, try again. If it doesn't work after three to four times, give it up to twenty-four hours as sometimes it doesn't automatically register that there is a new file that needs to be used.

  4. I have an icon-size C16 file.
It's in "The best Google Chrome extensions ever", AKA The C16 Extension.

do you like my sarcasm font?
