Fractal Roleplay​

Who are we?
To make it plain and simple, we're just another new community that started out. We first had a temporarily DarkRP server but as I dislike DarkRP, we switched to HL2RP. We're completely fresh and new, looking for members to join.


What's our goal?
Our goal, like any other community I suppose, is to let people enjoy their time in the server without to much fuss and stress. If you feel up for a new, fresh and clean start into a brand new community, then join us.


Why should you join us?
Why shouldn't you? Oh yes, the old question that's so lame right now but it's true, why shouldn't you care to join a new, humble server that needs players? No harm can be done while you're at it, the worst thing you can expierence is that it's a lame server, again one of those communities that will fail and that's why we're open for suggestions at any times. We're still adding things to the server and we're always looking for improvement, so why not care to join and help us out?

-Vortigaunts (Enslaved and free ones)
-Citizens (Duh)
-Metropolice Force (Again, duh)
-CWU
-Industrial Workers
-And more are comming


What's it up for me? What do I get?
As many of you noticed that have owned a server, or still do, there are always players that only get attracted to the community if you put "Searching for staff" in your title. Faire enough, with us you get nothing. Nope, nothing. We give you the oppertunity to work yourself up the ladder, if you want a different faction then work for it. Apply for factions such as Vortigaunts, MPF and OTA. Now ofcourse you're wondering "And the resistance then?" and to answer that correctly: We don't have it.
We give you the choice to either make your own resistance group with your friends or join one because most of you veteran roleplayers know that if you need to apply for resistance, that's just bullshit. So, resistance stays IC only, and if you can't join or create a resistance group, that doesn't mean you aren't a rebel, you can always rebel with either silent resistance or brute force but be warned with the brute force one, it will get your ass wooped.

You explained it yourself. This is just the same old HL2RP server that will die in 3-4 months.
No redeeming factors.

 

Sadly enough true, but can one not even try? I mean, look at LemonPunch, they're still standing because they had good rescourses, look at Relentless Roleplay, they are still standing aswell, and all the other communities that are still standing. If it's going to die in 3-4 months then I'll be happy that I tried, if it doesn't die, so be it, then we'll have more fun. ^^

 

Keep that spirit up and maybe it will.

Anyways, you guys got a good developer that'll be giving your server some nice, custom content? If not, you'll have to focus A LOT on the actual RP experience.

Normal servers like this get beaten to a pulp by other servers, and though I hope you guys survive, you're going to need a lot of help.

There's also a lot of grammatical errors in your thread, but that doesn't matter too much.

Generally a good community. The owner and the administration team have a definite amount of spirit within them and it looks like they really do try to keep their playerbase happy. I definitely do like the way the server keeps it simple and doesn't use ninety bazillion workshop addons, while keeping the content pack they currently do have at a small file size, even though on the loading page '89 downloads' does look and seem quite alarming.

Although, there could be a little more fine-tuning to the community's overall role-playing and the way they go about things. They do use 'forummotion' at the minute, but I've pointed the owner in the right direction with http://dot.tk and SMF.

A community just getting started which is fueled by spirit. Definitely a server worth checking out if you're the average roleplayer. 6.75/10

 

There isn't a 'set' sort of dream community at all. It's all personal opinion, that's what you review something on, isn't it? That's why things are reviewed by multiple people a number of different times. I gave my opinion on the community as it is, comparing it to the competition of other new-born communities.

You're obviously right though, I do agree to some extent.

 

I've had 10+ players on the second day (today) with only three guys who wanted to mess up the server, I'm quite happy that with only the second day I already recieve players. I thought I had to advertise on almost everything for it to come true. Anyhow, currently I'm working on a plugin (farting and burping) to learn the basics, I have Polis helping me along to tell me what and what I can't do. And I'm doing farts and burping because I had no real idea of what to make since all the essential things are already made, plus Polis mentioned it first.

 

In all fairness, and I don't want to burst your bubble, because we received 15+ players on the second day aswell. That's when the hard shit kicks in. Try and keep it that way. But as we all know, that won't happen. Not for a start-up. So, yeah, you should feel accomplished with that, but it's a real accomplishment if you can say: "Hey, fgts. I had a server of +15 players for a month now? Lol, don't believe me? check out our gamebanner.". I haven't had the honor of saying that yet, so I hope you will succeed, where I have yet failed.

 

Supposedly yes, but I'm not gonna give up because of LP or any other bigass community that indirectly (Or intentionally I dunno) demolishes servers, in the end I'm not gonna give up.

Not really no, I'm from Belgium, therefor I speak Dutch. I learned English on my own as we don't recieve it as a class untill we go to college, or highschool, or whatever it is for you...
