HL2RP Gamer's Republic HL2 CityRP

I signed in just to write this so here goes.
I played on the server for roughly an hour or two and here's my experience:
I walked around for a LONG time, there was literally nothing to do apart from ask for a job to get LP's or go and become a rebel, which in the servers current state is probably impossible since you can't get tokens any way other than random rations.
The server is REALLY REALLY barebones, only a couple of props and bits placed down like chairs and paper writings about a cafe which isn't operated by anyone and is there for show.
The Staff team is horrible in which they give out 3 friends of the owners OTA whitelists and they all escorted the CmD to walk around the plaza for no reason.
Called in a inspection with 4 cits online, one whom was afk, two cits were missing so they called a miscount.
6ft 7in+ OTA chars
IC application is done by paper format in which you write your name, CID, what you're applying for and why you should get accepted, IMO it's too easy and ridiculous.
OTA and CP's randomly shooting at each other and minging around in the nexus.

In my opinion, the server needs a heavy re-working because it's just plain and bland, boring and all that. Or just close down.

 

OP, one thing you want to do is heavily prioritize citizen roleplay. Have work cycles, make up random events for citizens. Stay the fuck away from zombies and antlions. Stay away from inspections unless you have it down to a science and can do one in less than 20m. Have the CPs go out and offer work instead of waiting to be asked. Have the CPs interact with citizens. Our server does the "friendly CPs" approach because robocops are just... bad. OTA shouldn't be on unless there is an emergency. and 100% make CP applications harder. your CP/UCA/CCA/MPF/whatever-the-fuck-acronym-you-have represent your server and it's citizen RP. civil protection drives a good portion of citizen RP, so make sure you're not recruiting idiots.
