To put it nicely, saying oh I dont like it is a shitty excuse, dont bother posting if you wont join.

Like I said, We're here to have a good time, and a script shouldn't dictate that.

I never said CC was bad at all. I personally love it and it's one of the few game modes that I would use not a single addon with aside from my own prone addon.
Don't let anyone or me say a server is bad because there's no variety. This is roleplay. Make things up. Make your character as real as possible with as little as you can.

 

You bring negative waves in general nd I'm pretty sure puppy dosen't want someone like that or anyone really having an administrative position in a server.

Being a memer also dosen't help.

CC is actually a really nice gamemode if you think about it for everyone - it provides the imitative that other RP gamemodes usually don't have, it's easier for administration @Rhenz as a witness, and it's unique in it's own way. I believe we'll all get through the stage of "Oh, this sucks." - you just have to give it a try, it's like when a different framework came out and everyone hated it, but people started to play it and love it for what it has. I'm sure CW/Nexus went through the same stage when people were transitioning from liteRP to a serious gamemode.

 

I'm telling you though, unless you spam your way to level the stats players would be pretty incompetent in a physical-game way.

That and the hunger system isn't the best thing, you'd have to distribute rations (or have a dispenser, dunno if it's just for TnB) frequently so everyone isn't moving at turtle speed.

Joined. Had some actual fun for a little. Staff seemed pretty intelligent and weren't assholes, there was some pretty decent roleplay for the first launch. The script sorta makes you feel like you're playing DarkRP in a way, and it's hard to feel like you are in HL2RP, or maybe that's just because I lost my taste for the schema a while ago. Overall it wasn't bad at all. Not something I'd play on every day just because I've lost my magic with HL2RP, but it's not bad. Try it.

HL2RP is absolutely dead-in-the-water. It's finished.

It's had its run, and now it's over. There are some that hold on, some that try to claw it back to what it once was, but it's gone.

 

i was really looking forward to this, but sadly i'm not a huge fan of a different framework, so i guess now i'm just waiting on innovative minds.

 

i went on this when zig went on but i never bothered to post anything
tbh most of my complaints with the server are with a different framework and some aspects of the lore
the administration werent stupid "no u cant do dat" people and the cps werent "oh look im NIOT EDGY BUT IM OVERLY EMOTIONAL AND NICE"

when talking about the script ill say that it reminds me heavily of darkrp/semiserious rp in general

 

I actually did try it out for a little while. And honestly, the only time I've ever felt like I'm a real citizen in HL2 is when I'm playing CC. Even when it was me playing on the server for little under half an hour.
