German Gamer Society Half Life 2 Roleplay [English/German][Custom Content]

Hello folks, this is my first time doing a server/community advertisement.
I'd like to start off by speaking about the community I own and a little bit about myself.

General Information
My name is Yuri, I am a new community leader of a group known as the (German Gamer Society Half life 2 Roleplay), we are a new half-life 2 roleplaying community with many goals to achieve.
We want to create a new environment for the players
to enjoy. But yes, your reading this thinking "It's easy to say it, but can you do it." I can't say yes and I can't say no, for now we can only see if what we want goes to plan.
The Server is not Only German its English/German Main Language English
Here is some information about what we want to change and fix.


I've seen other servers and they are all the same. People get away with things they shouldn't do, I want to change that and have a roleplaying community not another one of those scenario's of admins giving themselves weapons and people being stupid rather than being in character.



German Gamer Society (Englisch/German)
The German Gamer Society is a new roleplaying community within the HL2RP district, we are determined to create a HL2RP where people follow the rules and not break them, we want to create roleplay for citizens and not leave them walking around mindless and bored. German Gamer Society is working on ways to improve citizen roleplay and even the resistance, all those servers where the resistance attempt to fight when they have the gear and lose always. It's just the way it is some people may say. But we hope to change that and have some form of scenario where the resistance might possibly win the small battle. Also the resistance will be strictly short with members, members will be normal players with around two admins, this is to stop "ass" pulling and then seeing resistance members with RPG's and what not. The Metropolice will be the same as they are currently, this faction is fine the way it is. We plan to create new divisions to improve the roleplay and such.



German Gamer Society Development team is working around ways to add in new weapons, such as melee. We already have some melee weapons in the server, but we want to give you guys more to play with. Also, we will be following up the severance theme of items.But there will also be Civil Workers shops within the city as items will not be always around the map. This also gives the CWU roleplay so nobody is left out with nothing to do. German Gamer Society is based within the City, a city known as City Eight. The map is rather small, but that is perfect for us as we are a new community and have a small playerbase. It wouldn't make sense to have City FortyFive and have five players or so on a day. But hopefully that will change from you guys.

Citizen Roleplay Lore :
Combine - SFM

Human instinct is based on survival, it is understandable for human beings to want to survive in new, harsh surroundings. Because of these surroundings, we can understand why, when offered, people can do terrible things, like kill, maim or punish each other. It is also because of harsh surroundings, you must kill, maim or punish - because if you do not, you are subject to those who can and will.
You can receive rations, you will wait in line, face forward and receive the ration from the machine. The machine needs no "Identification card", the digits on your citizen jumper is enough for the machine to scan.
Inside the ration package, includes:

One can of water, be it fizzy or still. This water is known to cause short term memory loss, not long term. Small events, such as
beatings, detainment, names, faces - not locations, your own identification or past history.

One jar of "Citizen Supplements". Inside these supplements contain a random foodstuff:
Paste, this can taste of beef, turkey, gammon or sweet - unexplained, similar to candy floss or bubblegum.

Small quantities of actual beef, soft and tender, a gravy substitute is in a small packet inside.

Liquorice, soft or hard. (Not the greatest option, but is in large quantities).

Noodles or rice, they are almost tasteless - if they are lucky enough to have taste, they are beef flavoured, although the taste is almost synthetic, plastic.

Spaghetti - tomato paste along with pasta, this can include bucatini, ravioli, linguine or soba. The tomato paste tastes nice, unlike the other options.

Working as a Citizen.

As a citizen, you are made to work on a daily basis to keep you healthy and do small work for the Combine. For example, you could be assigned to water pumps, shops, engineering workshops, waste disposal. If you are caught in your workplace and not working or unable to work, you are subject to punishment. If you are not assigned to a job, you are to be assigned immediately unless unassignable.

Faction improvements
The (Civil Protection) is known as the Combine Civil Authority on our server, we have changed the divisions you would useally get within a normal half-life 2 roleplay server, our system goes like this. You will start as a Recruit like normal, you will then work up the ranks from 05-01 like normal, but when you get to 01. You will be given the choice to either go into GRID, HELIX,Union,Zero,Shield,Shadow Divsion or train to become a officer. But you cannot just say I want to be GRID and wazam your in it. You will be trained over a period of days to have the experiance and then be able to join the division.

The Resistance will also be stricter, as said above. You get into the resistance, don't expect an admin to hand you over a pistol and uniform. There will ACTUALLY be a black market, and that black market must have either an inside man. Or somebody in another city that has an inside man, this can be used in roleplay, the black market wont be an admin, this is because he is likely to give up and hand over pistols from his powers. We don't want that so a normal player will have the chance to do it.

This will happen.
Now your reading this, and most likely are thinking it's just words. I know and you are correct, but in due time all of THIS will happen. I have had a discussion with my administration team and plans are already under way. But we cannot really do much as you all may know.When you join the server, it wont be like others. You create a character, you spawn. And then is left within a city, clueless where to start. Well when you spawn, there will be Civil Authority checkpoints nearby, a CCA will always be there. This will create and start the roleplay for new players. And improve the chances for them to make friends whilst waiting in line. We will also have CCA patrolling the trainstation rather than having a dead empty trainstation in which a new player arrives at every so often.

Now I would like to move onto other subjects related to you guys, some of you may of skipped this to get the website link and check it out, now you might have seen the donation choices and thought great another scammer after my money. Some of you may think that, but those prices have been set at a cheap price than other communitys I've ran other and checked, I am not after your money. It's your free will to choose to donate to the community. What you see you can still earn from respect and playing alot. It's just a choice, I've added donations to lend me a hand in keeping the server up, not so
I can go out spend it on drinks and games.

Why you should join
German Gamer Society Half life 2 Roleplay is a new community as you will already know, we run the CW schema HL2-RP. Legal copy we are a community of small population due to being new.
We are players that have either left other communitys or have decided to start fresh, most of us are from other communitys. Each of us have atleast 2-5 years of roleplaying experiance dating back to TacoNBanana up to Nexus and so on. We are determined to create the roleplay you all deserve, acheiveing this will take time. German Gamer Society will also keep you up to date with anything and everything that may be new, either for example. I will answer any question you want answering. The German Gamer Society Administration team is a group of mature members built up from other communitys, we each are over the age of 15 and will not be ruining your roleplay.

The server seems great, but as a video producer that is currently doing a 2 year BTEC on video production.. that trailer was something else.
