HL2RP Good Idea Bad Idea: HL2 RP edition

i donated for admin so i can just minge cause i was bored :l
best £5 i spent ever.
its funny seeing minges run to fake admin vendors

 

Good idea: Having additional factions.
Bad idea: animal / alien factions

 

Actually a bird faction would be quite cool, you could deliver messages between resistance members. But I dont think any other animal would really work, except maybe dogs in fallout roleplay..

Good idea: An owner who encourages their playerbase to reach out to newcomers and passive with them.
Bad idea: [LOOC] John "Raven" Doe: oh my god these fucking lolwebuls need to like fuck off man

Good idea: A playerbase that knows when its lost the fight, and accepts defeat, especially CPs.
Bad idea: Making up excuses on the fly to push some shitty RP (Example: A group of CPs are sweeping the slums, a rebel shows up with a bomb and tries to blow up the whole CP force, in a suicidal jihad style. The CP group opens fire and the rebel takes a metric fuckton of lead, but then the rebel decides he has enough strength to push the detonator anyway. Yes, this actually happened and yes, the rebel was the owner)

that's a good fucking idea, not a bad idea, they all need to fuck off and stop powergaming

 

People think everyone can be a rebel, but tbh. It's hard to find a decent non edgy rebel now a days who doesn't powergame their way through RP. Not all of them are like that but about 75% are now in my opinion.

 

We all need to passiverp, not shooting up 783,231,634,795 cps per day

 

I've been rebels on some servers, trying to gamble for tokens or simply making friends is impossible. Its "Buy a SMG off me for 800 tokens" or "Let's go kill a CP"

 

Good Idea: Use on the server new base of backpacks.
Bad Idea: Use old storage BackPacks items. Then server's players can equip 100000 backpacks in their inventory.

I did that once as a CP
shit was cool m8 admins got mad at me and I couldn't fix it

 

Good idea: "Find something to do if you're bored."
Bad idea: "GO PASSIVERP!!!!"

 

Good Idea : Allow ERP as long as it doesn't negatively affect anyone OOCly.
Bad Idea : Forcing someone to ERP because you're an admin.
