Yeah, I checked that out after the fact. I think I've fixed most places that used the old password at this point.

 

Damn, that's both hilarious and sad.
Hilarious because the kid thought he got away with it 100%.
Sad because Rockstar can be compared to EA at this point.

I had a situation like this.

I gave an old account to a friend of mine on Toribash back in 2013.

Friend realizes the account is using a shared password (Worst mistake I've ever made)

Proceeds to hack into my Gmail, Steam, Skype and Facebook.

Changes all the passwords.

I can't do shit for recovery because he's hacked into the recovery email.

Make new email, contact steam 'n stuff.

Steam says they're suspicious of me for asking access to my steam account because I'm on a different email, so now they assume I'm hacking.

Eventually hacker gives my back my steam account because "Was just a prank, we're still friends."

He bought 30 quid's worth of games and gifted them to himself.

Destroyed my facebook account.

Continues to this day to spam my friends on my Skype account.

And still has complete control over my Gmail.

And he asks if we're still friends.

Good news! My account name was reset. (Don't know the state of my characters in GTA Online, though..)

 

How long did he have the account for? He wouldn't have transferred the money since he was obviously going to use it as a personal account, but he may of had time to buy / sell something.

 

Punch them in the nose!

 

Doesn't seem like anything was changed, fortunately.

So all's well that ends well, I suppose.
