This is a thread, where we are going to find out things about the lore of the Half-Life Universe. Everyone is free to help, and this will not only help this server, it will help other servers too. Everything you have to do is, put im some content, such as proofs, these could be pictures and ect., and what you found out.

Note: There is another thread at another communtiy which can be found here.

What things in the Lore are we gonna find out?
Basically, everything that didn't get find out yet.
Every information is gonna be putted inside here. There is going to be a list with things that have been found out and things that would be good if we find them out.

    The List:

    Things that is found out:

But that doesn't mean that you can't improve it.

    How to find out stuff
A lot of stuff is basically in the game. We can hear it, see it but that what we see might not be enough, we need to understand it better. In order to do so you can extract maps, look through the source code and research stuff.

I suggest to use Combine Overwiki.

Code Names from the Overwatch Forces:
In the game voice files gets called by a code, if we can explain that code, we know for what the voice file is used for, which will result the meaning of that code name. We can also use exsisting code names, that are things that is found out. Some code names are combined with other code names. Lemme give you an example:

    Skyshield
Skyshield contains from Sky and shield.
Sky is the sky and doesn't have any special meaning.
Shield is already a code name, which means, To apply defensive tactics or to defend a designated target/location.

And if we combine that together and use common sense, it means something that is defeinsive in the sky, such as a Gunship.

    So let's go back.

What I did is a list, I copy this from the CCA and combine in with my list, this list will edit itsself until everything is completed, source will put down soon too. I will remove codes from the list and put it down my list if it already exists.

Go sharp, go sharp means like go directly forward.
When a Combine throws a grenade they say like Razor, 9 - Extractor away, sharp zone.
Sharp Zone would like mean the direction that he is going for, like the direction right infront of him.

Priority Alert: Nova Prospekt exogen breach. Perimeter communication status zero. Internal stabilization teams deploy sterilizers in suspected infection blocks A5, A7, B2.
    Deployable Sterilizers

Team Sundown 3, set viscerators in sector Apex 5, and advance for contact. We have biotics in the perimeter.

Sterilizers are things such as turrets, even at Half-Life 1 the security guards say that. That's something interesting, we find more codes and explanation at Half-Life 1 too.

Overwatch confirms double boomers dispatched inbound, ghost drop inbound, prepare for skyshield heavy suppression and wrapup.
