The stone age brought us the wheel, something we still use today, but that doesn't mean we need the stone age continually happening in order to make progress, quite the opposite. Likewise, America may have given us all this great stuff (which America did not just make without any previous technological progress from previous civilizations, lets remind ourselves) but if you have a government that tried to essentially shut down the internet with no knowledge whatsoever of how the internet actually works, then it would be justified in questioning the governments' right to freely control or use other potent technology.

By the way, I have nothing against Americans, or even individual people, there is just a moderate amount of ideals that variable amounts of people follow that I dislike. This site was founded by an American, or at least I think they're American, but I don't think any less of him because of that. I don't hate Americans for being Americans, and I'm not biased towards hating someone because they're American. That would be racist of me.

What? All I understood was the previous technology part. Then you said some about the government trying to shutdown the internet. Confused. Anyway, Germany is not bad. Nazi Germany is. And that was a terrible example. Just because a country looses a lot of lives doesn't make them good. Germany was fighting to basically completely take over the world and create a massive dictatorship with of course the extermination of basically everybody who was not a white Christian. America fought for freedom from Great Britain because of their outrageous living conditions. America fought for something good and died good people. Germany fought for something bad and died evil. It's all in what you are fighting for.

Also I would just like to say that I have nothing towards people in the UK. I'm bashing on the UK from the 1400's-1700's. I have nothing against y'alls.
