HeartBit Serious HL2RP | Custom Cannon | Fully Customized Server |

This topic will be about a community named HeartBit, And why you should take your time to play it.

The whole community is name HeartBit ofcourse, It is a fully customized community. Ofcourse with a friendly staff that will help every member in need.

Why are we different from most of the Clockworks HL2RP servers? Cause we have a fully customized server ( Already mentioned that before a couple of times, so you keep it in your head ) we have multiple custom plugins that are made by the server developer/ers.
A list if you will:
-A Radio that is available to obtain In-Game. Songs are updated frequently.
-The server is updated with plugins, map changes and bug fixes frequently, some would say too frequently...
-Dynamic events that change the server cannon
-Many small, character items like clothes,food
-A work in progress CAnnon that is affected by every player
-Illness plugin developed and still being updated by our Developer/ers


We use a completely different cannon that differs from Vanilla

2013 AD
The black mesa incident lingers in the past, only 1000 humans know about it on Earth, and is under classified documents hidden in a forgotten archive. But Humans are not the only species to know about it, in fact, there are many races that know about it, though most of them are under one race...The Combine.
The Combine, the largest and most feared species in the observable universe, undertaking thousands of planets under their authoritarian rule, with no loses each time - with them targeting weak, un-evolved species, while exploiting every bit of land on that planet for their sprawling civilization and hunger for resources.

They have observed Earth for many years now, and noticed a much more evolved human feelings, interactions, emotions...Unknown in their own race, and other races they rule upon. Love, Hate, Fear....All un-present in the evolved Combine race, which works on needs like hunger, superiority and alike.

They decided Earth should be in their hands, but so as its subjects, those they can observe and learn upon, those that are special and those that can replace their constantly used working force. They noticed that Earth, unlike them for the past 10,000 years, have different governments and different people inside those areas, each unique and different. But they also noticed corruption, hate for reasons such as the colour of someone's skin, the 'god' someone praises, and jealousy and many more foolish reasons, that a mighty race such as the Combine can not tolerate from its subjects.

They wanted to 'save' Earth from itself, and let them have all of its precious materials and characteristics for the better good, for the better Combine race.

2015 AD

It was May when the stock market crashed. The gold was not to be found, oil was gone from the face of Earth... Sweet water supplies were dwindling quickly. Diamonds were not forever after all.

People were losing their jobs, doing everything for another drop of water. The large nations held a summit, trying to find the reasons for such global chaos and famine. And then, it struck one of the large nations, they could conquer smaller - 'inferior' ones, for more supplies. At first, the motion was called irrational.
But after another 2 months...At the heat of the summer....Russia invaded Europe, taking whatever is left of their supplies...Murdering millions just to get whatever is left, and trying to slow down the process of famine. The EU, or what was left of it, couldn't allow it to happen beyond the Baltic nations, and called a war on Russia, being backed up by the US, to gain more resources from areas bordering Alaska.

The war went on, many larger nations joined, to stop the other from killing a nation, but to also exploit the lands of them. A constant war continued, killing millions of civilians, soldiers and even eliminating countries. A nuclear war didn't break, to try and not harm the last of fertile lands.

In October, Russia pushed a threat, either the US must withdraw all of its forces from Russia, or Russia will, in their words, 'Wipe all existence of the American nation'.

Though what no nation knew, the Combines were the ones to deform Earth in its resources, supplies, mentality....Destroying Earth's nature, just to make that war happen. Earth was down to the population of 3 billion humans. The Combine, hearing the threat by Russia to destroy the Combine's future base area, decided it's time to put the second stage of their plan into motion - Claiming Earth.

On the 20th day of October, a day before the nuclear strike, the Combine sent a message to Earth, a message heard everywhere with no disturbance....It contained 'Residents of planet 'Earth', we have come to stop your Civil War, and to save your race from extinction. Please halt all of your wars, so we can start rebuilding your destroyed planet. You have 2 hours to call off all attacks and operations.'

The nations, startled by the message, unsure if it was real or not....Decided to not take an extra risk, and they did call a 48 hours truce.

The Combine's announcement system once more was heard 'Governments of Earth, we will send our captain to speak to you on our terms of restoration, in the mean time we have already planted facilities to purify water'. And silence struck Earth, people left their ruined homes, their destroyed cities, looking at their enemies' armies, and celebrating with it...Celebrating the Freedom of Earth...

The Combine never sent their captain in....They sent a death squad. Murdering what ever remained of the broken, corrupted governments. The radio, newspaper, tv....Internet....Everything was gone already, by the armies of all nations, issued long ago to try and reduce mass hysteria by keeping the public un-informed.

The Combine, in their last global announcement said...'Civilians of Earth, your governments were indecisive with our rebuilding programs, therefore we have sanctioned a Global Emergency Program, led by us, to rebuild your life. All populated cities will gain a civilian army to defend it, food, water, and other rejuvenation programs, including special ministries and other benefits. Do not fear, you will be safe. We will be running nation wise transportation programs, and your nations' armies will be disbanded by us. Your governments, that did agree, will be allowed to run their country peacefully, with our aid.
Expect support in 5 hours."

Joy spread around Earth, liberating them from murder, corruption, their evil nations are no longer killing each other....They will finally have food, water....

But, all of that, was a plan of the Combine. No nation was left...Everything a fiction for their grand propaganda plan. They did send rebuilding crews, water purifiers... Civilian armies...But all of their job was to make sure the civilians don't die right away, but can still work and promote the Combine race. The civilian army was to protect the ideology from civilians, and not civilians from the 'evil' nations.

By December, all cities were already populated with civilians....All of them with uniforms to remain unity, food filled with medicine given to everyone, water with unknown substances roam freely in cans....The civilian army was named The Anti-Disturbance Force, promoted to protect cities from disturbance by their foes.... Factories were being set up, local Ministries and even Mayors were elected, to maintain a city feel...With ministries heavily ordered by the Combine to maintain a propaganda, a working force...And unknown state, and above all....A unified passive society.

2016 AD,The Liberation's First Anniversary.

The story here will be affected by the players of the community, as more characters develop, as much things get into place, this section will be updated to reflect the advancements of the community.

I played their for a few hours, I disliked the canon a lot but the rp was at very good quality.

 

Why thank you, But what was the reason of you disliking the cannon? Since we are trying to do everything to suit peoples RP needs

 

In my opinion Klans it's the most retarded thing it defies the whole hl part of the scheme. Another thing is that it's player base is constantly low. Tbh Serious RP is dieing in general.

 

It is meant to be like a Communist view of the world. But more civilized. They look like friendly motherfuckers on the outside, but if you break some of their rules you will be taken in the nexus, for a "Medical Check" or something like that. People who have been around long with HeartBit love the cannon, as it adds more fun to HL2RP, and let's be honest. All of the fun that was in the vanilla cannon is taken away... dried out, But ofcourse, everyone has their opinion. Also you are partly correct on the SeriousRP dying part, that is the whole reason of out playerbase being a bit on the edge now. So we need to look for new "recruits", if you would like to call them like that. But the SeriousRP dying thing... Well, people get bored over time... That is why we need to customize the game or make it better in any way...

 

God I wish I could reverse time to go back to the good old AG days but yeah shit goes on.

Yes, Some people go to the last places. All of the small servers will die and eventually there will be only big ones left. Since people leave from the small communities... It will be just like in HL2, if you allow me to compare

People will seek refuge in the large servers. Trying to find something better there. At the end there will only be a handfull of server, each with a large playerbase. Somes who like and who don't like the server. And by that happening people will leave the SeriousRP world... I don't want to see that happen, So we need to make something new, customize our decisions. It is not just a 2 way path. You can customize it as you please...
