I feel retarded when I'm literally clueless on how to operate the airforce and, navy despite the countless guides.

airforce is cumbersome at first but it's pretty nice once you get used to it.
navy is still a pain in the ass for me tbh, but I don't use it much it doesn't have as much of a strategic advantage as the other stuff, except maybe I think navies can do naval bombardment?

 

navys are barely used and are only useful for patrolling

 

Me and @Timmy have our own alternate timeline that occurred in Hearts of Iron 4.

1936 - The Integralist Brazil is founded. A new face of fascism throughout South America, as its influence reaches Cuba.

In the end - Cuba remains a U.S Puppet Democracy as the Monroe Doctrine begins to take effect. Integralist Brazil lurks near the border of Paraguay preparing a supposed lethal invasion.

Meanwhile, in the Middle East. The Neo-Ottoman Empire is founded as Turkey's thrusted into a vicious albeit short Civil War - The leader of the attempted Coup is publically known as 'Koksal Baba' however, he is shortly executed.

1938 - The International Kangz is founded. The leader of this faction is Integralist Brazil and, the participating nations are Japan, Italy, Fascist Cuba with small participations of the German Reich. The invasion of Paraguay begin's however, in the midst of it all - Fascist Cuba gets immediately invaded via U.S Forces and is forced to capitulate immediately.

The Arabic Empire claims fame to their newly-founded faction, the 'Dune-Koons United'.

World War 2 has officially been started.

1939 - Koksal Baba returns from the ashes and, is reincarnated as Adolf Hitler of the Third Reich. The Axis Powers is dismantled underneath Fuhrer Koksal but instead replaced underneath the 'Dune-Koons United'.

took awhile to conquer all of Africa, had to fabricate like 30+ claims

australia is a huge shithole at the start of the game so it's a-lot harder then it looks.

i made my elite squad later on, only managed to put it out six divisions of it but the template is:

-3 medium tanks
-3 motorized infantry
-3 self-propelled arty med tanks.
with:
field hospitals
engineering company
maintenance company
i think support artillery?
recon company

i also named the elite division emu team
also had a shit ton of airplanes, beat the Germans in terms of airplanes albeit all I use is CAS and Fighters.

CAS is shit until you go down the air-doctrine for battlefield support, then it's the difference between winning or losing a war, really provides good support for your infantry and can knock down almost 100 org in battles.

I could've done it sooner, but my game glitched out near the start and despite having the Fascist party elected the game still thought I was democratic and I still was part of the allies lol.

for land doctrine it has grand battleplan by default for australlia but I switched over to the overwhelming firepower one or whatever which would've helped a-lot more if I spent more time researching artillery.

democracy sucks

started as iraq, went democratic, built a fuckton of forts on the border with iran (forts are fukcing useless) and i build up a sizable defence force with the recruitable population i had (13 divisions, 4 of them mountaineers, 2 tank divisions rest are standard infantry with artillery support)

anyways

iran declares war, and im doing pretty good, they push me back a bit because the forts fucking suck (funny enough my level 1 forts held out) anyways, im winning some battles, and they take fucking bagdad and a day later my ENTIRE INTACT ARMY fucking capitulates

i'm not going to finish it because the war glitched out, and now i'm at war against the entire AXIS even though this war was only beef between me and Italy when they get to send the ultimatum to Albania (which I refused) so they declare war on me!!!!

now they never called germany into the war, and they were the only major power in the war (they did call in Romania and Bulgaria I think) which got me nervous but I don't border them so it was alright.

and once italy capitulated the war was supposed to be over, goes to peace conference I select some land and go home but nah.

they had their armies too in Italy, they were losing in Africa so they didn't have any divisions there.

What helped is my infantry equipment is like 1944 infantry shit in the year 1940/1941

Plus I did the invasion all manually and just drew up the plan for the planning bonus when attacking

Albania is a huge shit hole. I think you start with one army divison, can recruit five if you go to service by requirement (which requires you to be at war if you're neutral like I was.) could've had a lot more manpower if I went down fascism but I thought King Zog Albania just defending from Italy would be a good goal, never planned on invading them

 

yeah even if the ai does demand albania they never garrison troops there so eventually greece invades it

 

once Italy declared war on me they had like three attempted naval invasions, the last one was so close to beating me. But eventually they stopped because Naval Invasions have a shit ton of casualties if they don't work out and from there I planned my naval invasion

which I didn't even start with any naval dockyards anyways

 

lmao yeah reminds me of a guanxi clique game i did, was able to raise a massive army because i turned fascist just after the japs declared war, and i just stationed a fuckton of troops in my and nationalist chinas naval forts and just repelled every japanese attack, then i assigned a bunch of troops into manchuria and we pushed them all the way down into korea, and then eventually out of korea, they kept launching naval invasions which kept failing and i got super fucking bored, couldnt even mount a proper naval invasion because the japanese had their navy all around my coast, i was hoping the united states would enter and start the pacific theatre up but it never really happened so i just gave up
