Help. . .

Discussion in 'Discussion' started by Tree, Aug 19, 2013.

  1. Hello, i'm in a community that runs Clockwork Metro RP 2033, and we're closing near open beta, etc...

And, we've been trying to open the server, we've got the host, the game-mode...

Our founders have discovered grim, an error of some sort, and we've been resorting to this help thread..

    This is the error

ERROR: Trying to derive entity widget_base from non existant entity base_anim!
ERROR: Trying to derive entity cw_belongings from non existant entity base_gmodentity!
ERROR: Trying to derive entity cw_generator from non existant entity

    Please help.

    1. If you're a member, I hardly think it's your place to post problems about the server.

    2. Wrong section.

  3. No, i'm a Operator, helping with the launch, as he told me i could help, and look around.. I'm a new guy to Clock-Work, so i just placed it here.. Lol.

Did you guys have custom content, created by devs?

  5. No, everything fresh.. Nothing Custom

  6. Those errors are benign.

Can you please describe what the actual problem is? Does the gamemode work?

  7. Nope, the owner can't join, he says it's LUA errors and such,

He told me it's something with the gamemode, he seems to think he never installed it right..

  8. Tell your friend to enter -condebug into your server's command line, restart the server, and paste the contents of the generated console.log file (located in the server's garrysmod directory) to pastebin.com
After he has done so, tell him to just copy the URL of the paste and give it to you.

Then you should just link the paste here.

  9. I get kicked out of the server due to, 'Too many LUA errors. Sorry' So says the server, when I use the command to uhm... make it so you can not be kicked, the gamemode itself does not load, such as the HUD, and everything else.

  10. The base gamemode is missing.
The tmysql module is missing from the garrysmod/lua/bin folder.
The cloudauth module is missing from the garrysmod/lua/bin folder.

Please reinstall the base gamemode and ask your host to place the cloudauth and tmysql modules (which are found in the garrysmod/lua/bin folder in your download) in the garrysmod/lua/bin folder.

  11. Seem to be missing the 'bin' part of this...

  12. Because you didn't upload the modules.

  13. Ahh, alright thanks mate, I'll get on that, and uhm... I'll post back here if I need any further assistance, thanks you.

  14. Unfortunately, we cannot help with the installation or configuration of third party additions such as cloudauth or the Mysql modules.

    Well then...

  15. Bescharlie

Bescharlie Im on the right, sucha pretty little boy ;')

Well i'm fairly new to clockwork and all that, and i havn't read the thread yet, but my take on fixing this would be to redownloaded teh clockwork version, not your metro, just teh clockwork, navigate to the

    garrysmod\gamemodes\clockwork\framework\entities\entities\

    folder

and replace all the folders in tehre with teh freshly downloaded ones..

Since im pretty sure thats where your missing entites are :)

Maybe this will help if this post hasn't been resolved already. :)
